I agree. They have some athleticism. Coach is a good coach too. Going about it the right way.

I am new to north texas select soccer and still trying figure out the system. I am curious how much how these divisions were determined will impact seedings next week. I assume teams in Gold are supposed to be better than teams in Silver, but it appears to be a number of inconsistencies?

For instance it appears the Mustangs beat both LP Daglish and Cosmos Black twice last weekend but are in the silver while those two teams are in the Gold? In addition both teams have lost more thant they have won this spring in games recorded in Got Sport? For example LP Daglish is like 8-19 since february.

It would appear to me from looking at "got sport" that their are a number of the silver teams that have had better results than some of the gold division teams.

I'll give it a shot. These brackets are very close...only thing I would change is put Mustangs Navy in Gold Bracket and move Cosmos Black to Silver.

Plat A( 3-5 are a toss up)
1. DT Higg
2. Solar Dynamo
3. Defeeters
4. Sting Rez
5. FCD Blue

Plat B( very close also..any of these teams could win bracket)
1. Andro
2. Sting Central Parker
3. Saints
4. Andromeda Red
5. LP Thompson

Gold
1. Celtic
2. LP Daglish(Mustangs Navy just beat LP Daglish in tourny)
3. FCD West
4. Sting East
5. Cosmos Black

Silver
1. Solar Stark
2. Mustangs Navy
3. TFC 02
4. FC Premier
5. Stun Central

I didn't do Bronze because I don't know any of these teams.

TFC 02 girls beat Mustangs Navy in the texas winter classic.

Other than generally looking at the results, is there anything more specific (like a formula or point system) that the seeding committee for LH applies to the results from Tut?

No! But they will show up at any scrimmage that the teams let them know about before QT's. To help them decide which team should be where!

Why is everyone picking Botham as the favorite?
They haven't done S#&T in 4 months. Is it because of the history or because they're that good? Haven's seen anything from them. A couple 2-0 wins over Parker is not that impressive.

Maybe cuz they played 5 games in the Kyle Owens without allowing a goal. Maybe, because they were a top3 02 team 4 months ago. You can take the blinders off now.

Everyone is picking them cuz they are bigger stronger faster. Texans are probably #1 unless FCD Premier Grubb knocks them off the top of the mountain someday. Texans 02 are as good or better as everybody else in the top tier at soccer skills but then they are bigger stronger faster than most 01 top girls teams and way bigger stronger faster than 02 teams except for Grubb. Pure athletic power matters a lot especially when you are 11. Texans and Grubb are just big strong AND good.

Don't believe? Here is one of the Higg center backs playing around during a break at a local event caught on camera. Try to get a cross in on her!:

Hmmmm...who would you pick based on anyone doing any "S#&T in 4 months"..Feet?...They not only did not win a game in the spring league against good competition but I don't think even scored a goal! Dynamo?...hear they added some players but have not had the confidence to play in a single tourney since the spring and if they did...did not hear any banter on how well they did...Sting?...they have not showed for any tourneys either with a team they can call their "top team"...oh and FCD who got in that bracket because they are hosting?

Higg on any given day could be beat just like any team at this age. I saw them play in KO tourney and they are fast and strong...even though it was 105... I heard parker played great defense but could barely get over half field and no shots on goal. Don't know if that is true... but the strong and fast part is!

Good luck to all playing in the heat! sunny

Higg and FCD are both great teams. And when they play their best no one can touch them. Higg didn't score alot on weeker teams. The reason... when the weeker teams get down by 2 goals they will pack the box. I can tell you it's hard to score a goal with 10 girls inside the 18. Both of the teams are heads and shoulders over the 02 group. I really do not see Higg or FCD losing a game till they play one another next year. cheers

If you can find a way to stop FCD very special player then they are beatable. This is not an easy task by any stretch of the imagination. If you can some how limit her touches or contain her somewhat then you have a shot. If you can't it's gonna get ugly. She is head and shoulders better than everyone else. You take her off that team then the Higg team becomes the best squad. Higg plays exceptional defense (best in this age group) , they play long but they do put nice passing sequences together also. The Higg team attacks from all over, not relying so heavily on one player. To bad the FCD team and Higg team could not meet in this tourney. Maybe next time. Until then the debate will roll on.

Not sure where you've been but Sting Rez showed very well at Flamefest only losing in the semis to Dynamo. Feet had a really good showing a week or two before Flamefest too. I think the Sting Rez team will surprise a lot of people. It will be a well contested group this weekend. As the DDs get older and wiser, the scores become much tighter. I believe Texans will prevail but I'll be surprised if they win all their games in 5-0 kind of blowouts. FCD Grubb was smart to avoid them because they have a lock on number 1 seed for lake highlands at this point.

Sorry...My bad... Just hard to get any sense of these teams with all the changes, guesting, etc going on in the last 3 months. We will know soon enough now that the teams are set. I am sure the days of any blowouts amongst the top 10 are long gone...

DT and FCD will still blow out the 02's. Teams are too far behind them, and yes as they do get older the DD's well get better, but so will DT and FCD. At the point the gab is a long journey for the 02's to catch Grubb and Higg

Good luck to all playing in the heat! sunny

So what are your score predictions for the Texan 4 games? Let's see if you are right!

DT-3 FCD-Blue-0
DT-5 Sting-0
DT-6 Feet-0
DT-4 Dyanmo-0

What can one expect from an imaginary make believe ghost parent with an imaginary make believe team?

Hate to switch gears... but it is completely lame that FCD is charging for parking. Wonder where that money is going? After shelling out a huge amount of money in July for dues, $15 for the weekend is enough to make me mad. What a load of crap.

$15 to park??? Is this parking at Jerry's world?

Wow... not a good trend to start. Parents need to let them have it.
