Why youth soccer gets a bad name
http://soccermomrambling.blogspot.com/
It's always the vocal, idiotic minority who give the rest of us a bad name

Absolutely a goof... reminded me of the old Phil Hendrie show.

Leave Bolt out of it
He has done something in his sport no other has ever done, and has a chance to 3peat. (and in track he is a living legend) Yes he is confident in himself but for reason. Now this ubber mom on the blog not anywere in his class.
Ali talked like no other and backed it up.
Bird was a trash talking on the court like no other.
Babe Ruth Pointed to the direction he wanted to hit the ball and went ahead and did it.
Most top atheltes have a big head. It's kind of what keeps them at the top this idea in their mind, it's between their ears that they are the greates. Once they loose that. (I.E. Tiger Woods) They lose the supper hero feel and become ordinary. (Though tiger is still looking for the cape I think he may have left it when he reversed out of the yard)

Bolt is breathtaking. I only wish he would finish his races before beginning his antics...

You got to as a Jamaican I might be just a little biased. ( Not sure but maybe) Some call it antics, I call it giving the 85,000 a show. The race is 9.6 seconds long. He has to figure out a way to sell him self.

Not only will the seating be segregated, but only those parents in the upper eschelone will be allowed to speak at games.

There aren't really parents like this around here are there? This has to be a prank because nobody that sits next to me in the shaded spots talks like this.

In earlier "musings" she/he refers to "Kings Court" Academy Soccer... and the "Kings Court Classic".
anyway, again this is all bogus and trolling as far as I'm concerned... You gotta read the other three blog entries.. priceless.

I think it could be Kansas City Select Academy- part of the Kansas City Select Club? The Kansas City Friendly Games were held this past weekend in Overland Park, KS. I think this could be a serious blog!

I didn't believe it after just the first few lines and figure it's someone with a lot of free time who tried to write something funny. It's just not credible, however, and is hard to read after just a couple of entries.

Fake or real ... she just updated it. Seems like a lot of effort to go through if it's not true

I've heard parents talk discreetly with similar comments, but they would never talk publicly or on a forum like that.

golgolgol wrote:the thing is, there are people that feel this way, I just doubt someone would actually be that public about it. Especially since that blog is mentioning kids by name. It's probably a parent on the lower team impersonating a parent on the higher team, trying to show what a jackass they are.

Re: Why youth soccer gets a bad name
If this women is writing in character, she is really good at it. In the latest post she listed even more kids and parents. I sincerely hope that she's using fake names in this. If she isn't, the last note we're going to see about this blog is going be an obituary.billwill922 wrote:weatherbug wrote:Blank77 wrote:Kansas City Soccer Association?
