UNT Ladies Team

Well, we had a great time at the UNT ladies soccer game on Sunday. You couldn't have asked for better weather after the deluge.
The UNT team beat Kansas 5-1 and really showed both great offense and defense. I have to give credit to Kansas too though. They never once stopped trying.
It was a great experience for the parents and the girls.
Our team got to be ball girls for the game and they had a great time. They also got to scrimmage during half time.

Interesting since the UNT website shows them playing Troy yesterday.
In any case well done by the local girls.

My apologies Lefty, it was indeed Alabama and not Kansas. They are so close in spelling that I put down the wrong state. They still didn't give up.

Kansas played TCU in Ft. Worth on Sunday. TCU was down 2-0 in the second half, but came back to tie 2-2 at the end of regulation. KU scored in the second overtime period to win 3-2.
Periods of good play from both teams. Kansas was better and deserved to win. TCU played hard to get an equalizer in the final minute of regulation.

We were at the TWU game with our team Sunday.... tied after 2 OT.
Big D battle - not my kind of game.....
