New boys/girls teams are expected to join Andromeda just not sure when or from what other clubs.

I believe that not being in a position to jump on the ECNL Train
has relegated EP and TFC to an even more minor role in NTX Soccer.
Had EP lost the complex earlier, I'm reasonably confident that we
would have departed as its location was what kept us with the Club. The girls
are all graduating HS now so it's no longer a concern for us.
Good Luck to all.

The deal is arranged and will be finalized this summer - some of the boys teams have already changed names. Of course, a club is just a bit more than a loose collection of teams and if the teams don't go... If you don't want the name and the extra fees or whatever benefits, reform your team somewhere else in June and re-sign 75% to keep your bye, but kiss your current practice facility goodbye.

I will take that as a " yes "

They have to pay the $100K lease for the fields somehow. That price tag seems a little excessive for fields with no lights (the current ones belong to TFC and will be moving with them).UEFA wrote:upper95 wrote:UEFA wrote:3,000 dollars year per player. Please tell me that's not going to happen!

Plus no restrooms! I think TFC was smart in leaving this over priced location. They still have a training facility in Plano. I heard they are purchasing property in the general area of the 2 locations. Can anyone confirm that?

I will write this without being too specific and people can speculate as they wish:
A business owner / primary decision-maker has to balance the his own personal profits with what he provides his customers and invests back into the company. $250K per year is a lot to be paid for a very average soccer club... and people are finally pulling their heads out of the sand to realize it. (Although select soccer parents are generally very slow to recognize the obvious. They just keep writing the checks).
A case study of the demise of Longhorns Soccer Club should be required research for all DOC's.

Agreed, although one may choose to overlook the idiocracy of the club and it's primary decision makers in favor of a coach who is developing their kid.JustaSport wrote:MauMau wrote:Wow, something I actually knew about before it hit the forum...
