can anyone confirm this rumor

I heard a rumor and wondering if anyone else has heard this....

A "Player Pass" for LHGCL teams. If I understand it correctly it would basically work like a guest player situation during the season.
Lets say you have 2 teams with in the same club. To make this simple we will use FC Dallas as an example. FCD D1 team is playing Team X and FCD D2 team is playing Team Y. FCD D1 team can loan FCD D2 team a player for the weekend under this "Player Pass" rumor. The FCD D1 player can play that weekend game for the FCD D2 team, help them win their game and then move back to their original D1 team the next weekend. The player pass has to be within the same club.

Please tell me that this is just some drunk or high parent running off at the mouth. I cant see how this can benefit anyone besides the big clubs. I would like to think that LHGCL would never let something like this fly. Surely LHGCL wouldn't stroke the egos (or something else) of the big clubs. Please someone tell me this isn't so....

I hope that is not true. A DD that plays on a medium, small or independent club would be screwed. This would cater to the big four or five clubs and surely LHGCL would never do that? In this rumor you heard is it just one player pass per game or 3-5 player passes per game. Either way looks as if it would give an unfair advantage to the big clubs.

Player Club passes are allowed for President's Cup and State Cup, I can't imagine they would allow that for regular season league play. I don't know the specifics for LHGCL.

I don't think it's allowed within league play but allowed during tournaments as long with in the same club.

I think you are talking about dual rostering players. The only players that can be dual rostered are ECNL players as far as I have heard. Not a d1 player to a d2 team. They are usually dual rostered to a d1 team and not a d2 team.

Player passes are for tourneys only not LHGCL season games. LHGCL games are pure roster only. You can duel roster in a couple of years with ECNL team and LHGCL team. Starters for ECNL have no need to duel roster. That's for bench players only.

So not true. Have seen several starters that dual roster.

Didn't say its not possible. Simply no need. Yes let me go get hurt in a meaningless LHGCL game when I have an upcoming ECNL event with 70 college coaches there. That's smart!
