What was so bad about it?Referee wrote: Worst officiating job at Sting-Gio game. Never seen anybody that incompetent. Stupid is the word. Can't take anything away from Gio. They played hard. Just a dumb a@# ref.

Wow...what do you think should happen to that Ref?Referee wrote: Handball inside the box by Gio. Ref didn't see it or didn't want to call it. Sting scored on a pretty play from outside shot. Ref called it an offside. How's that possible? Sting goalie dropped Gio forward, he called that one. PK. Lots of hard fouls on Sting girls, ref didn't even bother to check on his flags. Incompetent.

FCD had better passing IMO but Texans looked dangerous with a more direct style.texmexradio wrote:Yep 2 - 2. Sorry I couldn't make it there. Got called into work. Talked to a guy that was there. He said Texans had more of the dangerous chances to score. Anyone have a good summary of how the big game really went down?
On another note, thought UTD fields looked better. Maybe all the recent rain and sun?

You give up too easy. Try slipping ref a c-note before the next game. Make sure you have your team shirt on. Becareful sometimes it back-fires on you! And at half they ask for more.Referee wrote: Unfortunately nothing you can do. That's the way soccer goes. Makes you want to cuss him out, but you have to bite your lip

I have to disagree- I felt txn had more passing combos and actually broke down the FCd offense more often . Both FCd goals were from a bit far away - txn goals were closer in after creatively getting past FCd defense. they also had several more shots on goal.
Now in retrospect- I do think the FCd defense did a nice job of passing the ball up through the midfield rather than just booting the ball up the field. Just my opinion.

A friend of mine, on the Texans, texted me a photo of one of the girls with their medals after the game.
For some reason the picture brought back memories of the Sportatorium days.
I was out of town but heard that someone had taped the game. Does anyone know how anyone other that the two teams can get a copy or can someone post the entire match on youtube for all to watch.
