The shortage of 00 keepers, the 02's have an abundance, 01's seem to be pact, 99's a few extras.
There was a shortage of 00's prior to ECNL tryouts and now its worse.

Re: Usual topic this time of year..........
The movement is kind of expected given the ECNL team slides out of LH and promotion of other teams not too mention the new loves in our daughter's lives (middle school sports and boys).
This year, we lost less than ever and have had more come out than ever - not sure what to make of that at all. Of course, U11-12 is usually the honeymoon stage for most players (love their coach/teammates/team/club....) - so, eventually, separation will occur for various reasons.
It will be interesting in 2-3 years how 00 age group looks given the depth - not sure NTX can really field that many ECNL and D1 teams.

When you look at the standings of the old and new teams for D2, it is interesting. The existing teams records are, for the most part, very close and among those teams only two did not openly advertise for players.
FC Dallas East won 6, tied 4 lost 8 with 22 points (posted for players)
Mustangs Bussey won 5, tied 7 lost 6 with 22 points
Sting Central Parker won 4 tied 10 lost 4 with 22 points (posted for players)
FC Dallas Youth Premier won 5 tied 3 lost 10 with 18 points
Dallas Texans Red won 2 tied 3 lost 13 with 9 points (Posted for players)
The incumbent teams from D3 posted some great totals and there has been only one team in that group who hasn't openly advertised for players.
D’Feeters won 14 tied 3 lost 1 with 45 points
Solar Gold won 12 tied 5 lost 1 with 41 points (posted for players)
Mustangs Navy won 9 tied 5 lost 4 with 32 points (posted for players)
Dallas Texans North won 8 tied three lost 7 with 27 points (posted for players)
Sting Ferretti won 7 tied 6 lost 5 with 27 points (posted for players)
However, will the level of play for the incumbents be different enough to put all teams on a more equal footing? Will the number of teams making player changes be impacted enough that everyone lags a bit? What do you think?

Hi InaB...good point but I don't think you can conclude that just because a team didnt advertise, doesnt mean they weren't looking or taking on new players. I know of one of the above teams that had one posting back in May but nothing again after that and they have some new players (and impact ones at that). Coach and team reputation sometimes markets itself. So my point is regardless of whether they posted for players or not I think you will see new looks in the fall. Whether the changes will level the playing field or not...guess we'll see when the whistle blows!
