The one team we beat is another that I don't think belongs in Platinum
The team we lost to, I honestly don't know which teams they pulled players from, but they lost 5-0 in the next round.

If you are looking at results from this tourney to determine where we should play I don't see platinum level team results. We could hang with one or two teams, but I think the rest would be on another level that we aren't ready for yet.

A division between Platinum and Gold probably would have been ideal for us this season. Maybe we can make a deal with Nicole and play some of FCD Hunter's games on our byes and throw in a Saturday or two and we can get a taste of Platinum and it will save some teams from getting robbed of a few games.

It's not all about wins. The FBRs take into account strength of schedule and who you play. By playing the top teams and playing them well, even losing by a goal or two, you will more than likely only improve your ranking. Being in the top 10, there is no other place for you to play but Platinum.

Interesting last minute scrimmage today between Pulpanick and Kicks Diaz. Ended 0-0. I think this season is going to be very competitive across the board. It should be fun.

How many teams does pulpaneck have? One of his teams played sting blue, another played DT Moreno. When did they fit in a scrimmage?

Pulpaneck has 2 '05 teams, FC Dallas Hunter backed out of the league on Thursday and they took the 1st 10 players that volunteered to play an extra game and let them play. The game time conflicted coach's Premier league game times somewhat but he was able to make it to start of the game and left right as the final whistle blew.

I believe Nicole is asking teams to fill the remaining games left void of an opponent due to FC Dallas untimely departure. The score will show a 3-0 forfeit in favor of the original opponent, but fun just to let them jump in and grab an extra game.

Really fun game to watch. Many chances on both sides, really didn't seem like a scrimmage. The 05's got it going on! Shaping up to be a very entertaining Fall.

It was a great opening day at CFBAL Very Happy

There were some great matches even in the heat of the afternoon. Looking forward to the next couple of Sundays!! Thanks to all of you who assumed FCD Hunters games - still have the following dates and times available for ANYONE who's interested (with director approval):

Very low key around the 05 forum lately which is great, means things are right in the 05 world for most part.

I am with you on this one. I watched both of the ties this weekend and it shows you how close the teams in Platinum are. D'Feeters Black gave up a goal to LP Hyypia in the last 4 or so minutes but looked like the better team most of the game (2-2 draw). Sting Garrett got a goal in the first half and was able to withstand the bombardment from Texans Moreno to finish even (1-1). Good games to watch.

Some good games coming this week as well.

This one was fun to watch. Excellent ball movement by both sides, and a killer save by the Texans' keeper near the end.
