QT schedules

OK, I looked at the QT schedules last night and they were totally hosed. I haven't looked this morning but if the bracket teams are correct, there should be some interesting brackets to watch this time.

Nothing's changed from what I can tell InaB, they are the same as when they first went up.

I could be totally off base, but the teams in blue are my pick for the first week.  Bracket C and D are the ones that will be interesting IMO and will depend on which team is the most prepared and hungriest.  Solar Silver and Sting Bruno are the spoilers for sure...both have good coaches and if they have gelled well then I can see either of them upsetting some teams.  I agree, it will be an intersting but good QT!

For my money, my bets are on the highlighted teams in each bracket. This is the highlight of the LHGCL season. The evening games are going to be little break from the heat. Last year there were two games in the same day and it was hot! I mean 100+ degree days. Good luck to all of the players, parents, and coaches.

Good bet Mid....question for you, have you seen Sting Bruno play or have a DD on the team? Curious since you picked them. I hear good things but afraid to pick them without having seen them play. Same applies for Solar Silver.
Personally think the FWFC/Rush game will be a brawl til the finish and can go either way.

I too have heard good things about Solar Silver but I haven't seen them play. I have seen Sting Bruno at practice, but no, my DD doesn't play for SB I do have friends and know some players on the team. Of course, I haven't seen Sting/Avalanche play in quite some time and I think they may be the greatest resistance to SB. The brackets seem to me to be fairly balanced.

Could be difficult to tell but could be AFC Black, Dallas Rush, Sporting and Wichita Falls in second weekend. I am thinking out of that Wichita Falls and Dallas Rush make it. (However, I have been known to be totally off base.)

002) GUNNERS 00G IDK about this team. They seem to play everyone close, so could advance.
003) FC DALLAS YOUTH 00G RED I don't think they can beat WFX, could advance.
004) SOLAR SILVER 00G Sympathetic pick, they have talent, could surprise.

Bracket B
001) FORT WORTH FC 00G WHITE Top contender, theirs to lose.
002) DALLAS RUSH 00G Tough out for anyone, 2nd weekend last year.
003) FC DALLAS YOUTH 00G WEST GOLD Sound headed the right direction, but battle tested??
004) STING ETX 00 JONES Hear they have a top forward, could spoil.

Bracket C IMO super tough group.
001) STING CENTRAL 00G ROYAL (MARTIN)(FKA AVALANCHE00G) If they can beat Genesis, should advance.
002) AFC 00G BLACK Will definitely be in the mix. Can they do it 3 games in a row?
003) GENESIS ELITE FC '00 Back from some injuries, should make everyone's life tough-advance on GD or similar stat.
004) STING DALLAS STING 00 (BRUNO) IDK anything about this team...if they are 1/2 DT Red, could be very tough, but gel in THIS division is essential.

Bracket D IMO Super tough group #2.
001) SPORTING FC 00G RED Said they were year away last year, see them IN second weekend.
002) FEVER UNITED 00G I picked them months ago. Gonna stay, but no idea what changes have been made.
003) TEXAS LIGHTNING 00G VAN ZANDT Sounds like they are back on track (their big gun is back), but this Group of Death is an unlucky draw for them. Could spoil.
004) LIVERPOOL FC AMERICA 00 GIRLS KEEGAN This team can be very good, but 3 games in a row in this group is tough...Could easily spoil.

My REDS advance in week 1, my BLUES advance to second weekend.

I think Groups C and D are especially difficult due to the quality up and down the line. I would look for several ties and low scores in those groups and ANY upset/injury/red card throws the whole thing into a spiral...I think it will be a dog fight on every pitch. There are quite a few talented girls who have waited and trained for a shot. Anyone who takes ANY other team as an easy win, will get shocked. There are too many unknowns and variables to predict accurately.

Agreed Dad, there are many variables this year for QT. Who lost key players, who picked up key players, and other team changes can make or break any of these teams in the heat of battle. And I do mean heat!  

It will be a very interesting time to watch these teams battle it out. However, I think I may sit in my air conditioned livingroom and check scores and comments On the board!
