No one dislikes RASE...
Well....I don't dislike RASE... Can't speak for everyone.


Its just a quick moment of "the chickens have come home to roost" parentally...

Kind of poetic justice towards the RASE parents that walked above everyone for this past year or two commenting like superiority wouldn't or couldn't ever be reduced to equality or normalcy.

No knock on the girls... At all...

Now that last night's alcohol has worn off....what say you?

  

Agreed - no knock on the girls - in fact very talented bunch of girls. Although I'm shocked that someone would think this forum is used to "mess" with people.

You should practice better team discretion... You didn't owe anyone a detailed explanation of how LFS ALMOST scored because during your explanation you accidentally called out your DD's teammate and put her on a pedestal... Although she may be more knowledgeable and or skilled...but no one player is above the team...and you know better, man I should ground for the rest of summer!! Go to your room and no posting for a week middle aged man!! Uncharacteristic of you 99...

I think it's time for admin to do for RASE, what it did for (Bieber) Fever.

maybe so kix. You know I usually don't offer any post game breakdowns or what happened during the game on here because no matter what you say it will always get taken as something bad. It was really in defense of a suggestion that the beast RASE defender was tired or has a weakness. But she doesn't need defending really the cleansheet speaks for itself. Think I will return to the no game commentary because people don't read. They read just enough to confirm what they think they already knew. And yes you are 100% correct no one player is above the team on this team

That's the point Kix, it never passes or ends. It's a constant running dialog of people attacking and defending RASE.

A loss or a tie and they'll fall in with the rest of the top 5-6

Here's the breakdown I got from a non-RASE parent and a non-04 parent. Essentially there's still a very obvious gap between RASE and others, just like there is with SRSA in the 03's. Now just like SRSA in the 03's the scoring margin is starting to shrink against top teams (although it showed a little earlier right now for RASE) however quality of play, possession, and composure is still very noticeable.

I'm sure at some point over the next year RASE will probably trail in a game, just like SRSA did a few times in their first year of LH's. However like SRSA, RASE puts tremendous pressure on opposing defenses and even when the other teams decide to pack the box eventually someone doesn't recover or misses clearing a ball and RASE will capitalize.

It would have been nice to see RASE beat everyone 7-0 so maybe people would move on to something new but with the games ending 2-0 or 3-0 it makes folks think there's a chance and thus more RASE talk.

I can't wait to see everyone face off against each other in LH's. Should make for some very interesting games, heck I'm curious as to who is going enter the $eeding tournament.

I think this is just more mystique. How can anyone much less a non-04 parent know? Unlike the 03s, the 04s were NEVER able to get all top 10 teams in ONE league. They got close TWO years ago... But that means nothing at this age. SRSA played all of the top 5 teams MORE than once before QT leaving NO doubt. This is not the case with RASE and playing 04s girls was unintended this previous tournament so anything is speculation at best.

conceited parents like him are why kids (parents) end up leaving their team for greener grass. you may also say they leave because of kids playing time, or lack there of. but that is usually stems from parents who act like that. whats sad is that many may think his asinine comments are a direct reflection of the entire Rase team, which isnt the case. 

maybe thats why a particular Rase player(s) have been seen out practicing & playing on another team. just ask LW, who I heard watched, or read previous threads

I keep thinking along those same lines. I can't see how the parents on that Rase team would be happy to read most of his posts as they make the team a larger target. Comes across as cocky and my kid is better than everyone, including the other players on his team.

And yes soccerJ I am soo sorry that you have issues to work thru inflicted on you my me and people like me. All of the movement in NTX every year on all teams is EXACTLY down to me and people like me. We actually have CSP meetings. Jsulli one of my biggest fans. Can't create any origional thought so just piggy backs on mine. Like a puppet with my hand up its A**. Nothing to say unless its RASE or I give it to him. People ask why every topic turns to RASE its because you guys have nothing to say but oh those guys suck, he's a bad man, GoAhole. It's been pages since anybody even mention Spirit. But who knows one day you guys will be able to move on and not have to follow and post on me. That's not true at all, I think SRSA played FCD Gold/Predator once in the 9 months prior to qualifying and I believe they played DTS once, and that was in a boys league because once the the Primetime fall league was over SRSA didn't play any girls leagues until LH's. So of the Top 5 I think they played two of the teams twice (maybe) in the 12 months leading up to LH's (DTS & FCD Predator/Gold). Honestly though most of the 03 teams this past year played SRSA straight up until the last few weeks of the season when you had teams like D'Feeters and others start stacking the box and only losing 2-0. So that's a team that was on the bubble to qualify for DII only losing to SRSA 2-0, just proves my point that the final score isn't really all the indicative of the level and quality of soccer the two teams play. The last four games SRSA played against the Top 03 teams I believe ended 2-1, 2-0, 1-0, and 3-2 even then though (no matter what their parents might think) those teams did so by selling out on defense and hoping for a long ball counter. Yes that is a style of soccer but lets be honest it's not what anyone really wants to see their DD's being taught but in games against superior teams sometimes that's your best and only chance.

I'm really looking forward to LH's this year, either someone will step up and beat them or a bunch of folks will stop posting as much. Either way it's fun for us outsiders to watch the circus.
