I don't see the Nero team on the Rush website and my DD told me some girls went to Solar.

I believe they disbanded. My DD know one of their girls and she stated the team was going away.

If June was interesting, July I guess will be a little crazy. With all the comments and questions, I had to check for myself, so here is what I found with regards to all the relegation and seeding stuff
So for U14
D1 = 9 teams now but only 8 in U15 - so two moved down but ONLY ONE moves up.
1st thru 7th place earn a BYE and remain in DI
8th and 9th place earn a BYE and move to DII
D2 = 10 teams
1st place earns a BYE and will move to DI
2nd thru 8th place earn a BYE and remain in DII
9th and 10th place earn a BYE and move to DIII
DIII = 10 Teams
1st place earns a BYE and will move to DII
2nd thru 5th place earn a BYE and remain in DIII
6th thru 10th place do not receive a BYE and so 5 teams must re-qualify [for U15-19 it's 7th thru 10th that re-QT; hence back to 4
teams]
Officially, There will be 4 open spots for DIII in QT

Normally this movement would created 11 teams in the D3 shuffle because the original 6-10 become 7-11 with everyone moving down one. But there were 11 teams in DIII this year. However, it looks like the bottom 2 are not going to enter for one reason or another.

As for DT-FTW, if they keep the D2 bye that will be interesting. I have heard that half the team is new. Their strong middle defender and their starting GK, both who were ODP and were a large part of the points earned [via the one win and six of the seven ties they got] have moved to other teams. Yeah I know, it's 11 on the pitch but that was a strong tandem and the loss will be felt. One of their strong forwards/mids also left. They have some strong players left but will need to improve the scoring without giving up much in return. Look at GA and GF. Just stating the facts.

We'll see how July shakes out.

The dtfw did lose some good players, but also added some very strong players from other very good teams! Also they have a very good gk that will become a full time keeper this year instead of spitting time on the field as she did last year. This season will be a lot of fun can't wait to start watching soccer games again!

Thank you all for so much enthusiastic interest in our team! We feel truly blessed to be staying in D2 with an amazing group of young ladies (both on and off the field!)

Yes, we lost a few players who we would have preferred to keep, but that is part of the game that we all deal with afterall....

However, at least one of the players noted in FCBucees post was a strategic decision made for the best interest of the team... While it is always hard to release or loose players, we are more than happy with the improved quality of the players we have added for this season.
