Start Supporting Local College Women's Soccer Teams
Start Supporting Local College Women's Soccer Teams
I went to the TCU VS SMU Women's Soccer game last night. We had a fantastic time and it was so affordable!
For those that love women's soccer. I highly suggest to show your DD's what they are playing so hard for. My DD thought she was meeting celebrities when the girls from both teams came into the stands after the game. Got autographs and pictures that she will remember forever.
The stadium and the field at TCU is first class and the weather was perfect. We cannot wait until the next game!

Re: Start Supporting Local College Women's Soccer Teams
What we saw instead was a lot of direct play from the defender straight up the middle to the covered forwards on the other end, very little switching of the field, very few times making more than three passes, and hardly ever passing the ball back. While the girls are obviously very gifted physically and do have skilled, we were disappointed in the style of play. I felt like she would learn more by watching a team like '04 Elite or '03 Solar Red.

As much as I hate to say it, "You're correct with the quality of play". We've been to the last couple of games including the TCU/SMU game.SD69 wrote:Just wish the quality of soccer was a little better. Many U10 teams can pass the ball better.
When you look at the resume of the players I thought they would be smarter with their soccer IQ. I have seen better games and ball movement in Lake Highlands.
However, it's a nice family outing and an excellent stadium.
