They were busy on Friday and the idiot did similar stuff to a different kid. The mom confronted the idiot after the kid came concerned at the end of the gane. The league promised he will be kicked out if he repeats what he did Friday. So, I made sure I contacted the folks and asked the mom to talk to them as well. I am assuming the league is concerned about his actions. At the sometime, he is really good on bashing anyone on this forum and may be concerned what damaze he can do to their business.
I'm just trying to educate you a little bit on the process. I don't know who you're talking to at the league, but to "kick someone out", there is a process they must follow. (I'm sure there are extremes, where, in the interest of safety, they can proactively suspend someone while they investigate, I've just never seen it happen.) While your contact may be very sincere as to the intention to kick him out, but the truth is the league is operated by a board of directors, and it takes more than one person saying "it will never happen again, he's gone."
I'm not, for a moment, suggesting that he shouldn't be kicked out, but there is a process that has to be followed. That's all I'm trying to communicate. It's never as simple as you calling someone, they get one side of the story and take action, nor should it.
You wouldn't want this coach to be able to call someone and say you said terrible things about him, so they bar you from the complex without trying to investigate all the facts.

I think you made my point. It's just as simple as make a call, get them kicked out.
I hope he gets what he deserves.

I agree completely.

I am starting to wonder what your true motive is. If a coach ever did this to my daughter I would have no problem letting his identity be known.

This......
No parent on any team will even tolerate another parent on the SAME team from saying anything negative to their child, let alone a coach.
This egregiousness should be outed or it really looks like a person with just a "beef" against a certain coach or club.

Maradonamoves wrote:No motive. Just knee jerk reaction. You and I are not the same person and I am not going to reveal my daughters Id here and that's what I promised the league or mentioned to Nicole for that matter. A better question is to ask why can't the person come out clean and issue an apology. I will accept it. As far as any parents are concerned, this thread is a clear indicator that "don't let any coach from other team even have a negative confrontation with your kid". It's inappropriate, immoral, unacceptable and there are consequences.Switchfoot wrote:If you are so concerned with the "idiot" why do you protect his identity by not naming his name and club? Sorry MM the league is not watching this forum and it has no real impact on anything other than a little blowing off of steam and entertainment. And the person doesn't come clean becasue he doesn't want too and knows you don't have the stones to out him. I am sure the league promised you that the coach would be dealt with. They were probably laughing about it with the coach over beers this weekend.

I don't think they were laughing about it, but I do suspect that they did nothing since they are 'nice' people. The kind thing to do is to be honest and direct, but that's too hard for nice people. I was thinking about this recently before this thread came out. I don't have this problem of course.

I doubt much will happen though unless an official witnessed the event or if it's on camera. Now you might see an extra league official at the game to witness him/her coaching over the next few games but honestly most of these leagues utilize volunteers so it's not like they have a full time staff to address issues like this.
