Re: '06 SuperCopaG Winner
Some interesting results thus far. Either the Dirty South is legit or they have a lot of new posters. Where is the Cali love? Where is Tulsa? Have you guys abandoned us?

Felt like it was time for a change. A few posters didn't like my old look. They'll probably find this one more attractive.06southgirl wrote:New avatar?

I thought we were relatively nice to Caitlyn. We don't understand your California ways, but to each his own.

Re: '06 SuperCopaG Winner
Additional Shoutout/Thoughts:
1) Thanks to all of the out of state teams for coming to Dallas! Lots of talent on your teams and respectful/classy parents!
2) Congrats to Selecao for Winning the final! Great job!
3) Much respect to SRSA?(not sure what to call the hybrid team but you know who you are) for making the finals! Also Great job! Oh, and OMG, the move LIL Rayo made in the final was SICK, ESPN Top 10, run on the court like an "And 1" game.
4) To NTX parents having an all NTX finals was awesome! I was proud of our soccer community first and foremost! At different points of the tourney, I actually cheered for Kicks and Solar. LOL
5)...but we can't rest as NTX is known to be strong thru U9 and then we historically fall off for a variety reasons and Ultimately end up placing fewer and fewer girls on National teams. Lets keep developing our girls technically(skills pay the bills) and tactically (Small side, small side)!
Let's do the American dream...give our kids the best chance possible to reach their full potential! See ya on the pitch... and So Cal Soccer dad see you in six weeks!

Re: '06 SuperCopaG Winner
Congrats to all 4 NTX teams for making the quarterfinals, and to Solar and Kicks for the all NTX final.
Kudos to coach JM and his girls on the impressive tournament win. The Kicks team is legit. Skill and SPEED all over the field. Those girls are explosive and very entertaining to watch. I was most impressed by the way they passed the ball around the field, specifically by trying to work it out of the back, and not just kicking it forward. That is refreshing to see in Ntx especially at this age. Keep it up coach.
Let me end by echoing SkeetsG06 words. Ntx can not be satisfied with being "the best" at u9-u11. This 06 group is off to a great start. The work, development, and, training has to continue in order for NTX to continue to compete on a national level(National team, D1 programs, etc).
