Value of Service

I posted this as a reply in another thread, but feel it deserves it's own space.

So often on this forum people post about how their coach or club just wants their money. Or they project and say that about other clubs. I can honestly say i have never felt this way. I pay select dues to a major club. I have always felt the club and more importantly, our coach has never had any motive other than to earn a reasonable living by helping my DD grow and develop. I have no clue what a soccer coach makes- is it 50-75k? I guess it depends on how many teams they coach. I don't even know how many our coach has, 3, 5?? I do know he is always prepared and on time. He answers my questions.

This is not a post to support my coach. The point is I feel I get value for what I pay. Do you? If not why don't you change or demand more? If your yard guy sucked and charged $50 a week to mow wouldn't you try another?

I agree, my son and daughters coach has practices 6 days a week for my kids and that doesn't include any game day which usually makes for 7 days a week. They don't go 6 days a week but they can if they want. Value added!

Major breaker of NTX rules or am I incorrect there can only be 2 practice days and 1 so called skills day?

I think you're  correct. We are going to need the name of the teams above so the soccer police can look into it. Probably should get Fifa involved to make sure the rules are being followed.
