From what I have heard there is no shuffle involved. Bye was taken from team, most girls told to look elsewhere.

I would assume they are stringing several along just in case they need them at the last minute. With hopes that the 6' tall fast and skilled 12 yr old that not only attacks and scores but can also play goalie when needed shows up to try out.

What a crappy thing to do. The sad thing is most of the parents I know there bought into the club and they couldn't have been more wrong. Just look at it as a chance for your DD'S to move onto brighter and better things. Good luck.

Is that similar to the "you're almost good enough to play ECNL and if you hang around long enough and we don't find anyone better (though we're looking very hard) you might make it next year?"

I will confirm first hand that the Bye earned by the team will not be used by the team. Some players will be moved to D1 the other 03's will no longer be with the club.

okay now this has a little meat on the bone. I will try to help.
Seems simple with the scrambling of byes and ECNL Feet does not have the manpower to maintain all of the byes so obviously the D2 (least valuable) one is let go. Easy to point at defeeters and place all of the blame however lets dig a little deeper.

The feet white team CAN keep their bye and leave the club and coach behind. They could stay indie or join another club. If they REALLY want to stay together those that are offered spots can simply turn them down and 100% of them stay together.

It's beautiful in it's simplicity almost brings a tear to my eye. One problem. Parents LIE, period!!! They will smile and say we are all in this together. But as you stand up to the MAN you will behind and find you are standing alone and with no bye why they all have their comfortable spots on teams. Might I suggest a team meeting so you guys can all sit down and decide what you really want. In the end defeeters doesn't decide what happens to your team, YOU ALL DO.

Oh btw the first stab will be the parent who runs to tell the coach you called the meeting so they can get brownie points.

05 LH D1 bye they earned will be given to D'Feeters 05AP Jr. ECNL so they don't have to go to qualifying - nice recruiting tool

What's funny about that, is wouldn't you think their "jr ecnl team" would qualify. Wouldn't you think those kids would learn a lot and have good memories of that achievement. Ntx club soccer at its best.

This reminds me of the saying "you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet" I like omelets, I mean who doesn't like a good omelet. Unless you are one of the eggs then omelets really suck. You guys can still choose not to be scrambled if you have the numbers

How does Feet leave 05 D1 bye behind if 12-14 of their players are 04s? Doesn't it have to be 50% (or give or take a couple as LH probably has to be a bit flexible this year)? That 05AP team sure has struggled in Primetime. Maybe they keep bye but drop to D3?
