A new club in Oklahoma? You should consider shortening your name. I personally liked the short and sweet OFC are they still around...

The Energy is the USL pro team out of OKC. They took 3 clubs under their name. Canadian Valley is OEFC west. OFC is now OEFC Central. Blitz United out of Tulsa is now OEFC East. Hope that makes sense.

We were hoping to face some ECNL teams. Anyone know if ECNL teams will be in this tournament?

ECNL Phoenix November 10, 2017 U-15 - U-18 I don't think you will see them do both.

U listed U15-U18. What about U13? I think we already played the Dallas Texans 05 second team in the Beat the Heat tournament in Edmond, OK. I'm not certain but it looks like the team that is playing in Lake Highlands D1.

The Dallas Texans that you played in Edmond is the DT South Team. That is their 2nd team. There are other 05 Texans teams that are better than DTS 05. They are playing in LH DI, but they inherited the bye when the A team became the ECNL team.

Outside of the ECNL team and DT West Diaz (formerly Sting West), both of which are better than the DA team, the Dallas Texans don't have much at U13.

If Dallas Texans' ECNL teams aren't playing in Fall Festival, will they be playing in the International Cup?

If you are really intent on wanting to test out your team against some ECNL teams, have your DOC get on the horn to the DOC's of the NTX ECNL clubs (or TSC for that matter), and try to set up some friendlies/scrimmages.

TSC brings some of their teams down to DFW on a semi-regular basis to do stuff like this, not just at the ECNL level, but their 2nd/3rd tier teams as well.

Although, you're likely to have a difficult time getting something set up this fall as the Tx Conference ECNL schedule is heavily front-loaded to the fall this year.

I also know that Sting has told at least some, if not all, of their ECNL teams, that they are expected to play in Texas Cup (hosted by Sting) on Thanksgiving weekend this year. So you may want to contact the TD and see if you can get your team into the ECNL/Champions League Showcase bracket.

Thanks for all the info. I wasn't trying to set anything up as much I was just trying to figure out what teams we will face in tournaments that are already on the books.

I have no inside info, but just looking at the scheduling for the spring, I think you will be more likely to find some ECNL teams playing in DIGC, especially in the pre-HS age groups like the '04's/'05's.

The small # of TX Conference ECNL games currently on the schedule for the Spring aren't until after TX HS season ends in Mid-April, so it would seem logical that some '04/'05 ECNL teams that won't have any potential HS conflicts, may look at using DIGC as a "tune-up" for the remaining Spring ECNL schedule.

Looks like the DT ECNL teams aren't playing in the Fall Festival, even up an age.  The International Cup will be pretty salty.  We need to have a good showing cause it looks like we are the only "local" team that isn't DA or ECNL.  No pressure...lol

Cuz of Sho nuff you can't show your hand too early it's better to wait and see who shows up later. Look for tournaments where the Bigs coordinate their point schemes to pad their rankings. The spring tournament is your beat bet to make a statement. Good look.

The only thing the Texans owes you is officiating in their favor hopefully you draw some of the other teams payback time.

However, we're hoping you can elaborate on the coordination of "point schemes".  And I may be in the minority here, but we're a lil' past "rankings" at this point aren't we?
