Looks like the sting team is the one that beat them out in the second round.

But if they have already started the season with another league do they just quit that league?

Unless the player is new to the club and joined up after the birth year change happened (which seems unlikely if it's the TM's child), I think it's hard to imagine a scenario whereby the coach and some of the players and parents didn't know about this.  

Everybody knew everybody's birthday 18 months ago.  So if she's a late '05 that was playing in the '06 division 2 years ago but suddenly had a new birth cert with an '06 date so that she could stay an '06, I'd bet a good chunk of money that her parents weren't the only ones aware of the deception.

I do feel sorry for those that didn't know.

Very mediocre age group and very average styles of play. Needs some of the bigger name coaches (in DA) to come down and invigorate this age group. Quickly.

I agree. You can't some expect some people on here to have class when they can hid their identity.

You mean like playing a player that's too old? That shows class and sportsmanship. Lets work on that first and then we can throw rocks.

So other than being disqualified in LH, what are the repercussions? I heard daughter can't play a year. What about TM, Coach, Team, Club?

I'm sure Coach will claim he didn't know what was going on. Doubt he will be able to change clubs so quickly this time. Club should give him the boot too.

But I guess if they can still play in other leagues Club won't want to lose the other girls, if they are as good as everyone says.

It can't be that LH is only League that will impose penalties will it? Why wouldn't JDL? What is the statute on something like this?

That was funny Keeper i get the humor in it. Some people will and some will not.
Some folks may be upset that it is tied to their Club Name. should be tied to the Coach of that Team. No one can tell me he did not know.

Correct it wasn't meant to demean club. They are doing a pretty good job of that on their own. They do not need me to help.

I heard that they can still play JDL, so that's why I ask. If they couldn't play in the top leagues I would think the Club would be done with the Coach. He appears to still be a coach there if the Club website is correct.

Sting is in no position to fire anyone...So in this case, JG was hiding an 05 on an 06 team, like SB hiding in a Gold 06 bracket.

That's a real picture of the dfw adult league. In the next frame kw slides in and takes them both out.

It is not against the rules for teams not to be age pure. It is the JDL league DESIRE that teams be age pure. The only age requirement is a player cannot play unless she has reached proper age for U11.

The rule states:
C. Age Requirements:
1.It is desired that all teams be age pure. That is,
all players on a team should be born on or after January 1 of the appropriate calendar year.
2.Younger players are allowed to play in an older age division with the consent of their coach and parents. However, any player who has not attained the proper age to play Under 11 select soccer may not play up on a competitive (select) team.
