According to ESC's website the play friendlies almost weekly so they have played plenty since April. This is most likely a travel team. ESC could be the best team in this tournament or the worst... they are a complete unknown.

Good luck to all teams this weekend. As ProDallas said, this is great for development for all the girls. Let's all keep our level heads. #itsallaboutdevelopment

Oklahoma team has a girl that can kick it from 40+ yards out in the upper 90. All their goals are bombs from way far out. In two games I haven't seen them string more than two passes together. There isn't a girl on their roster that is younger than a May birthday so they are older, bigger, and stronger. They are very good but rely too much on deep free kicks. They can be beaten.

The group of death really is the group of death and the weak bracket played out exactly like we thought it would. It is a bummer the way it turned out. Oh well.

Looks like it was an interesting weekend in 09 land. Props to Covey for taking care of business and making sure it was an all Texas final.

It was great that U90 scheduled all pool games in each bracket at the same time and at the same complex for the most part. Gave it a real tournament feel. U90's policy of "no ARs" to run line is another matter.

Of course when the one ref is unable to keep up with 8 year olds it is even worse.

Yes agreed the field is too big for one Ref and there are too many times when things get missed.

Yes a ref should be able to keep up with 8 year olds..lol
