This is true. A good handful of them got the flu in Vegas at the beginning of the week.

And Liverpool Heighway coach allowed the release to a team only 2 spots below his on the table? Good on him for doing what’s in the kids best interest. So what happened to Salazar’s goalkeeper?
Without going into details--it was NOT easily obtained nor was there any guarantee that we would have been accepted by another team..more importantly, lets just say a breach of contract suit was pending which forced the issue--out of respect for the kiddos and parents on the team, I will not make further comments about that situation...that aside, competition in all positions is healthy--part of the game at every level....having two strong goalies will be beneficial as to accommodate the DA and D1 schedules...The Texans were the only team who had less goals at the end of the Fall season then did Liverpool---so their goalie is not weak by any means...lets us not forget that these are 11yokiddos...it should always be about the kids--not the club or the coach...these kids practice hard and give up a lot of their free time to play this game--Fortnight!!---lets enjoy their collective victories and appreciate their efforts...

Re: TOP TEN 08’ BOYS TEAMS
Texans Salazar had a solid weekend and jumped to 3rd
McKinney may have started slow on Saturday, but essentially had target practice on Sunday. Sitting at 2nd with a huge goal differential tie breaker.
Kicks still sitting on top of D1. If another team is to catch them, it will take a loss and a tie at minimum. Game of the week will definitely be suarez vs kicks

Re: TOP TEN 08’ BOYS TEAMS
This ‘08 group has been affected age pure split, DA expansion and now new DA structure for next year. and teams are very reactionary. With more changes in DA, I don’t see it ending soon.

Solar McKinney does move the ball around but not like Allegiance. I've been working overseas for 2 years so I'm just now getting up to speed with my kid's soccer. I have to say I'm not at all impressed with his team or most of the D1 teams. It's boring back and forth ugly foot race muscle it in long ball. Kicks are long ball, Liverpool long ball, it's all boring long ball. I did see McKinney play Suarez and McKinney was moving the ball around but Suarez was sucking them into playing ugly long ball. KcKinney is the better team and if they would have slowed it down and play possession they would take Suarez. Allegiance and McKinney are the only 2 teams playing the right way, developing the kids the right way.
Not sure how you put Allegiance and McKinney in the same conversation, but hey you did get 50% of the math correct. You do realize that Allegiance has be been SHUT out in 4 of 11 games just in Classic league right, uhmmmm 36% of the time they fail to even score a goal, yeah I know, we are not talking W's but not even a goal??? Not to mention last week they were shut out by #18, that has only managed to win 1 game all season giving up 41 goals in 9 games?? Also you do realize they still have a few of the "top" teams left to play so the chance of them being bottom 5 and moving down into a D2 role is not off the table. If that happens, good luck holding on to a few of the more talented kids on that team.... And this is the team that posted a few months ago " soon to be one of the top in the nation" Hey, they do play Mckinney in a few weeks, which brings me to wonder if they can keep it within a 10 goal differential.....Hey I like the plan, but until they execute the plan, well its not good soccer....The Kicks and Mckinney seem to be the only teams consistently taking care of business every week. The other teams are struggling, as I witnessed yesterday watching Salazar-Texans loose to a watch should be a mid D2 Solar team that had only won 2 games all season and both of those games were against the winless bottom guys.....As mentioned before, this age division has been hurt by the age pure split and DA expansion so trying to guess a top 5 or 10 is pretty much week to week at this time......Oh and peeking at that the 07 division, well looks like Mckinney is taking care of that division also and still to come a upcoming match with Allegiance/Mckinney..hmm
