Re: 07 ECNL
100% Solar 61 pts...One game left (DKSC)
90% FCD 37 pts...Three games left (Challenge, Albion, Texans)
70% Sting Royal 37 points...Two games left (Challenge, Albion)
40% DKSC 38 points...Two games left (Sting Black, Solar)
DKSC needs either a good result vs Solar or a lot of help from the Houston teams.

Re: 07 ECNL
Anybody want to make the case for somebody other than Solar finishing first, or for anybody other than Energy, FCD, or DKSC finishing 2-4 (in some irrelevant order) and making Champions League playoffs?

Re: 07 ECNL
Saw the U15 YNT camp is happening this week. Seven girls from Texas. All seven play with Solar (a few I don't quite recognize and also a few more Solar girls who I am kind of surprised didn't make it).
There are also a couple of girls from around the conference who I am also surprised aren't there. Given the quality of the 07 Texas ECNL Conference, seems Texas should have more than 7 of the 36 players.

Re: 07 ECNL
Those are also the only 4 teams with a positive goal difference in the conference, and all are at +20 or better. That's a very wide gap that will be tough to close over the summer for all the teams in 5th or below who may be hoping to crack the top 4 next year. Lot of work to do.

Apart from Solar, most have called this age group incorrectly for years now, including you. I seriously doubt anyone will catch the top 2 even next year. Might distance themselves further actually, similar to other age groups. Time will tell..

I agree with you that FCD has broken away from the rest of the pack into a clear 2nd place, and I also think that is unlikely to change next year. Do you still think Solar is highly overrated and that FCD will surpass them?

Here were my final preseason predictions for the year before... Also spot on with the top 4 (just DKSC and FCD in the wrong spots). Seems I am actually pretty good this.
I keep overrating Sting Austin or Albion, but think they will also keep improving.

A few pieces? Is there a single player at FCD that would start for Solar 07? That isn't a knock on the FCD girls, but that Solar team has a YNT-quality kids coming off the bench. Youthsoccerrankings has FCD 6th in the country, but much closer to the 100th place team than to Solar. Apparently FCD 07 is a great team, but I dont think they are just a "couple pieces" away from "just yet" being able to surpass that Solar team.
