Ok so with most teams rosters being somewhat set for the Fall, who is playing in this tournament?

Solar Kennington 04's are in. One team playing in the 04 division and one team playing in the 03 division.

Why are the top 4 teams all in the same bracket...LP Beardsley, Fever Red, Lady Aztecs and Texas Black Gold!

In the 03 bracket we might get the much anticipated matchup of Dalglish 04 vs. Solar Kennington 04!

My Final 4:

Pool A winner: Fever Red
Pool A 2nd place: LP Beardsley
Pool B winner: DT South
Pool C winner: Odyssey 04

Finals: Fever United vs. LP Bearsdley

I think Primetime will ultimately switch LP Beardsley and Solar Chelsea; Lady Aztecs and LP Keegan.

That would better balance out the three Pools.

My prediction:

1st - Fever
2nd- DT South
3rd - Texas Black Gold
3 or 4 other teams could pull an upset.

Schedules are set (per PT)

I expect finals, regardless of brackets to be Fever - DT South and considering last game they played was decided in shoot out I would say this is a toss up.

But who knows... anything can happen right.

I know both of these teams have added players so it will be interesting to see where they are at as well as the other teams who I am sure have done the same.

Beardsley has a better chance of reaching finals in Pool A. In pool B you will have to win essentially both games to advance where you could lose one in Pool A and still move on reasonably.

No I don't think Beardsley can beat DT South... possible yes... but likely no. I think they have a better chance of beating Black Gold in pool A.

As far as I know the only team in this group to beat DT South is Fever and DT South is the only team to have beaten Fever. I don't think DT South or Fever have played Black Gold.

Also I would like to see Solar Chelsea 04G White do good as I know this group has been working hard.

Not likely... with Dalglish they would have to get past Sting Mendoza.. but it wouldn't totally shock me. On the other hand I don't think Kennington will get past DT South 03s.

Yea and I am not sure which DTS team this is. I don't think it makes much of a difference for Kennington, but if it is South Curiel instead of South Adames I would place them as the 2nd best team in this group behind Samba Black. I would be surprised though if South Adames was playing 9v9 though.

However, if both Solar 04 and Dalglish 04 both get 2nd in bracket play then they meet in the consolation game on Sunday....which is most likely senario to happen.

DT South

They are always in the final two or three every tournament but certain teams give them trouble. I attended the Solar Kennington game and DT South had no offense. They always play great Defense. That is why I am going with LP Beardsley if they face off.

Odyssey

My surprise pick of the tournament is Odyssey. This team plays excellent defense.

Game of the Year: Solar Kennington vs. LP Dalglish

I will be in attendance should these two teams meet on Sunday. I am a big fan of LP Dalglish and I don't try to hide it. We will find out who the top 04 team is hopefully this weekend. Even if Solar Kennington loses, they are still way ahead of the rest of the 04 crowd.

Have the Rowdies or DT North played in any tournaments?

Solar vs. LP would be a great draw and many would come to watch. I would give LP the edge in that match. I think LP will have a hard time against Sting 03 but I applaud them for challenging themselves.

I have not seen DTN or Rowdies in any tournaments this summer. DTN beat LP Dalglish last weekend in a 3 v 3 tournament. LP would likely beat them on the big field, but the gap is narrowing. Rowdies have been MIA. I would rank them similar to DTS and Fever.

actually Daglish one once and DTN won the other game. They played each other twice this past weekend

Go 99 is correct, they did play each other twice. LP won the Saturday game and DTN won the Sunday game. In response to your question, LP was missing two regular players and the extra sub was unable to make it, leaving the girls just flat out spent by the last game on Sunday (I haven't seen that many tears since Tammy Faye Baker). IMO, it would be niave to judge LP Dalglish (either big field or 3v3) based on the final 3v3 game last weekend.
