Disappointed. I saw an LP Keegan game last night and noticed they brought some Dalglish players into a Silver bracket game to get a win. What happened to all the development?

Has LFC Barnes ever played a team in the top 10? I don't keep up with the 04's as much....so I'm not really familiar with Barnes and who they have played and beaten. Have they got that signature win to show that they can compete?

Final score was 3-2 LP...just ask the LP parents. There were a few players trying to help the DT team, but they can't do it all.

You obviously didn't stop by the right game or stay for very long. The score was 4-1 and should have been 5-1. Great showing by both keegan and beardsley. Congrats to the Keegan girls. I am also not familiar with the Barnes team

Gonna put this out there, and it is not a slam on anyone. I think Rosales is a great 04 team and would definitely put them at the top and has been there consistently since we started academy. Based on the performance this weekend in the silver 03 group you might say that playing up in the 03's is not as easy as many here have portrayed it. Two ties and a loss in group play to Mid tier 03 teams that many have described as not as good as the top 5 04 teams. So either these teams are not as weak as many make them out to be or Rosales is not as good as we think. I am going with the former and I think rosales is every bit as good as suggested.

No need to check the webpage. I watched the game. This would be a great time for this group of LP parents to step up and not get the bad rap like the other LP parents have received.

I was thinking maybe you were watching the beardsley game but it was 4-3 beardsley. So that's not it, maybe you are just wrong. Instead of Keegan stepping up to avoind the bad rap by telling you that you are wrong, maybe the DT parents should step up to avoid this bad rap you keep talking about. The score on the website is correct. And desoite your suggestions to the contrary, Keegan does not need Dalglish's "help". They have a great coach and some talented kids and congrats to them for taking the tournamnet.

LFC Barnes

Has LFC Barnes ever played a team in the top 10? I don't keep up with the 04's as much....so I'm not really familiar with Barnes and who they have played and beaten. Have they got that signature win to show that they can compete?

My DD plays on Barnes. I'd say, honestly speaking, we're probably the 4th best LP team right now behind Dalglish, Keegan, and Beardsley.

We have played Keegan twice (tied them once and beat them once in a shoot out) but this Keegan team has improved A LOT since we played them in the Fall Kickoff tourney as this weekends performance showed... so I'm not sure our past success means much. We also tied DT South in that same tourney (but Shelby says DTS was missing players... so???) and some of our girls recently played with the Suarez LP team and beat GSSC.

All this said, this was our girls first Academy season and Coach Tristan is doing a great job teaching them footskills and how to play as a team instead of individuals like they did as the studs of their rec teams. We're still 3 years out from select so while rankings are fun to talk about we're not too worried about them. Smile

I know nothing about the Keegan/DT United game or score. But just to get rid of any speculation- the LP Beardsley vs DT Manchester Davis was a hard fought game and no Rowdies were playing on the DT Manchester team. Great game- Congrats to all the LP teams!

Question for Dalglish parents. How much of a difference do you think your guest player made? Would you have won it without her? I have a few friends from other teams who say you are not as good without her so I thought I'd ask!

Not really going to get into this, but... The guest is a tremendous player and a great kid. It was fun this weekend. All I am going to add are a couple of facts and then Im done. Dalglish had 7 players score this weekend. 6 with multiple goals. It was an absolute all around effort for those 10 girls right down to the goal keeping. They moved the ball as a team and played like a team. Congrats to the Dalglish girls
