You seem to have some major hate towards the Texans. Probably a bad experience from your past. If you really want to talk about development, tell me how many current players on LP Dalglish are from the original team? 3 maybe 4? Most of his original players have been moved to lower teams or left.

The current Dalglish team is mostly made up of studs from other teams who were already great players. LW is a great coach but he has been an even better recruiter. There are other good developmental coaches in the league. He has just done a better job attracting top girls away from other clubs. This blog has probably helped also since everybody wants to be on the "top" team.

The bigger challenge as a club will be for LP to gain national recognition and attain ECNL status in the older age groups. Despite what we would like to think, the 04 girls group is just a small piece of what LP is trying to do.

Nice try 2good but also a majority of the Bennet team was also LW under the texans. Besides you should watch the team play. What's special is not just the individual skill but also how they play as group and the things they do as a team. My dd was very skilled with the ball before she ever came to academy soccer and has only gotten better. We certianly don't drive way out to what I would call the sticks or followed LW from the Texans because of his ability to recruit. Forget recruiting, If a coach tells you he can make your dd a great player then just walk away. LW is a coach not a magician. He does not give talent that is not there and at the end of the day this is about talent. Finding and developing talent the best that you can. Speaking of recruiting, would love to have that Bennet mid join the team, she would fit in nicely Razz
