04 TPGL League Speculation

So is this the final list. If not, how many teams will be in the league.

My understanding is that only one of the 04 teams is age pure and that in tournaments the other 04 team will combine with them (5-6 players) to play age pure on occasion.

The top "04" team is really an "03" team with 8-9 "04" players. That being said, it's impossible to rank them as I can't remember any pure 04 age group Kennington team beating any other top 04 team in recent time.

I was told 10 was the max

If ten is the max and those are the ten teams......looks like I better get to choosing a team. Wow. At least this gives me an idea as to who is in and who isn't

That's the thing. All of these teams used 03 players... some more than others. It will be nice to see age pure play in this group so we can find out where everyone REALLY is at in comparison to the other top teams.

Seems like DTN Rosales has lost too many players. Probably best for them to regroup in SDL and come out fighting next season.

WOW!! MB You really have it in for DTN Rosales big time. We have lost 1 and I mean 1 player but have picked up players too. So, Please don't spread lies you know NOTHING about our team. Our team is doing just fine thank you very much. As to where we decide to play in the fall everyone will find out when schedules are released.

Also just make it clear DTN Manchester even though they played up in '03s this spring we NEVER used '03 players in any of our games. We have always played age pure.

No rosie pants, no king kenny, no Texans whoever the coach is now, seems kind of uninteresting to me. Hell 2 of the top teams on that list we could just set up a game with anytime and not have to pay anybody for it.

I can't remember the last time you were happy with whatever league you played in...

Seems to me you are expecting to breeze through based on your comments. Overall, this league will be more challenging than the D3 and silver 03 leagues you normally play in.

I guess you finally picked up an 04 keeper...

Personally I think the list is very interesting, but that is just my opinion. The Sting Teams are Sting East Piper which is playing great, and the other Sting team is a mystery but believed to be a combo team of Chacon and Scarfone but to be seen. DTN is believed to be a combo of Deleon and DT (Newest coach to take over for Doyle) from the rumors I have heard. The 3 LP teams are strong, The Fever team is a great team. Juventus is also a good team and now will be playing as FC Dallas East I understand... and TX Spirit has proven they can hang with any team and DT South will bring a great team as well, no doubts.

So why is this uninteresting, I guess maybe I don't get it?

The Sting team is a combination of what was considered Sting West as well. Some of those players live in North Dallas/Plano area and it was more convenient to play in Central than West division. Makes sense

Don't know whats happening with the keeper situation. Not saying we will breeze thru I just think the other teams I mentioned are more interesting. Say what you will about solar losing this or that, I still thenk kennington has shown that he is a better team than most on this list. Same with Rosales, not sure what he has lost or not lost but again I would pick him over most of the teams included. I guess the doyle think is okay since they will just flood those players into the other Texan team. But I also put that team above several in this group. Not saying I am unhappy with this league....yet. We will see how the games go.

Too hard to rank with all of the rumors and changes.

I think the Sting team will become a top 3 or 4 team. I'm still hearing that some DTN Rosales girls are leaving, maybe going to Solar?

okay why will sting become top 3? Which solar? Does us no good if they go to Kennington. Where are kennington, rosales, and ex dolye all playing?

Sting East Chacon hasn't combined teams with anyone from what I've seen. Also Sting East Piper lost 2 really good players and it showed in this last tourney. If the two teams would've combined then I think they would've been tough to beat. But we don't live on what ifs now do we.

Still not sure if Sting East Chacon is going to be in the league.

oh! I thought this list was a done deal. So we have no idea who will be in it. For that matter I have no idea if rase is playing in it

As it was said before, it will certaintly be more challenging than the weak 03 division RASE chose to play in last Spring. So, hopefully they'll step up.

they didn't choose to play there the 03 teams chose to duck rase. Bang!!! on no he didn't

Sweet: You ride or die with Sting East Chacon or Piper?? I saw both teams play and no disrespect to Chacon, but Piper could probably hold their own without a mix team. If the list isnt official, then we are just speculating. King Kenny team, as they call him, and The Rowdies can still be in..

Really? You played one gold team and lost and that team was a .500 club.
Mustangs who finished near the bottom of Gold beat RASE twice last year.
I don't know what league you belong in but EAL Silver was a little to easy for you, but that may be the way you and LW like it.

03 teams didn't want RASE in their division. fact!

All I have to say to all you big and bad '04 teams... you just be better be glad the Hyypia 05Gs decided to play age pure in the fall... or they'd put a whipping on most of this list... OK, maybe they'd draw against RASE...

But, in all seriousness, head over to the 05 thread and check out the 05 league that looks to be forming... pretty much the top 15 '05 teams playing in one league. If an 05 team makes it through the league season with less than 2 losses I'll be extremely surprised. It's going to be awesome.

LMAO too easy. Yes I was kidding. But it was the 03 teams that had us put in silver, not where we chose to play. I would like to believe that it was not the top 03 teams that objected but the others. Well the 04 teams are all getting the top teams together. Except for like 3 of the top ones I guess.
