It is my understanding that RASE won't be playing against girls anymore so they will soon not be listed on FBR.
At that point I imagine it will then be an almighty battle for the "best of the rest" title.

BWG knows this. He just remembers the reaction when RASE was not ranked at the top of FBR due to not having played any '04s. I imagine there would be a similar reaction for the week or two that RASE would not have the #1 seed going into QT. Most people know it doesn't matter in the end, it would just be interesting seeing some reactions of RASE friends and foes if they were not perceived as #1 by LH seeding committee.

Duh! That's the whole point... there would be no "real" difference to seeding RASE #1 vs. #2, it would just be fun to see everyone on the forum get worked up over LHGCL suggesting that someone other that RASE was the #1 team heading in to QT (of course, I am being a tad pretentious to predict/assume that RASE will still be the de-facto #1 '04 team 15 months from now...)

Play boys on Sundays girls on saturday...share the experience...Spirit might have a surprise for the RASE in the fall...

RSA '03 Solca has dropped from the FBR rankings due to having played fewer than 3 games against NTX '03 girls opponents during the current FBR ranking history period. SRSA '03 Solca is the de-facto #1 girls team in NTX until they are beaten by another '03 girls team from somewhere in the known universe (or even the unknown universe for that matter...

You always make it clear to all '03 parents that SRSA is #1 team by default.. If RASE plays boys, will you do the same above?

I doubt it. No insults intended but 04 RASE is no where even close to the level of 03 SRSA. IMO Comparing apples to oranges!

yep the only surprise they could have that I would be interested in is they no longer have THE player. Other than that Spirit will need to focus that surprise on the Left Footies, Dalglish, or the South Side first. I think those close out the top 04's and spirit may be knocking on the door but they aren't sitting in the clubhouse yet.

Maybe LW don't wanna be like SRSA though...the way he's been acquiring all the top talent by the time select comes it'll almost be like a monopoly somewhat...its a crazy situation to me...sort of like the nba right now...

RASE is not as good as SRSA and may never get there. It takes a certian hard focus to building that sort of team. RASE is a good team but it doesn't even have all of the best players between the 2 teams. There are some girls on Dalglish that are better than some girls on RASE. Until you are willing to make that cut you can't hit that SRSA level. The better the teams get, the more you are limited by your weakest players. SRSA doesn't have those

LW will either go on to live up to that SRSA legacy and do great things in the 04's or be the guys who failed to live up to it and I am sure if he fails there will be plenty there to celebrate and remind him of the failure. But the expectation is set and he set it with his own performance.

I doubt a 13-0 drubbing but I would enjoy a good beatdown. Knowing my dd, she has no doubt that she can beat SRSA. A nice beating to tell her you are not that good would do her some good to send her back out to the park to work. But I am going on record to put the game under double digits. I know you guys like wins but I say there is nothing like a good butt kicking to teach you something about yourself and drive you.

If RASE plays in a league and/or tournaments next fall that include at least every other top 5-6 team in the '04 FBR, and goes undefeated and untied, then yes, I will post a similar disclaimer next Spring if RASE decides to only play boys at that point. That is what SRSA '03 did, and why I posted that disclaimer for SRSA '03.

SP you don't get the point. I actually believe I said we are no SRSA so you can loosen the grip on their nutsack.

SRSA is the great 03 team, we have all heard of their greatness. The will be expect to win D1, win state, go on to nationals, girls dallas cup etc. Anything less and you will hear remeber that SRSA team that was so great in academy and then did nothing. Every game they play will be the other teams big game to take down the giant. Expectations are set and they can only fail to live up to it. Now if you feel RASE will be able to go on and do less in the 04's you are kidding yourself. Anything less and people will go on about the RASE teams and coaches failure. May not be right, may not be fair but those kind of expectations did not start with SRSA and will not end with RASE 04.
