'04 Girls FBR Rankings - 04-15-2014

Are they really going to play?

Looks like this Saturday. No idea where or when.

We will be playing in a tournament down there at the end of May. Hope we get to play them. Lost to them when my DD played for Chacon, but was not impressed at all.

Wow. Now those parents need to be brought back down to earth. Crazy.

The fact that it's an 04 girls team and RASE agreed to play them should say it all. There's no chance Alliance will keep it within 7 goals.

Not a big fan of Rase, but have to support the local team. Have to admire that Houston's team confidence. They must think they can win otherwise why drive 4 hours for a scrimmage beatdown?

Anyone know where? DD might want to see that.

Do they even play 11 v 11 in U10G in STX?

If memory serves, they don't start 11 v 11 until U12-13.

My dd used to play for kingwood alliance and we live in dallas now. They are a small club and their 04s and 05s are unbeatable in Houston area, they have a certain style, one touch/ two touch and strong defense, swing the ball side to side, shielding the ball and penetrate when the defense collapses. If you ask me, that is negative and ill be surprised if they can keep up with their own peers in the years to come. The parents are the nicest folks you will come across. Clubs such as challenge, rush really have established soccer culture and proven trainers and push them at u13 and up. No wonder the Mexican u17 national team, picked 4 kids from these two clubs in the u17 World Cup early this year. And USA u17 did not even qualify for the u17 world.

I agree. Outside of the top 3 or 4 there is some of the greatest parity in the last 1 1/2 to 2 years in this group. Should make for a great QT and classic.
