I think the same could be said of RASE regarding the one player D. Very effective.

You keep believing that. Last I recall, RASE has shutouts in their last two tournaments.  Seems to be more than a one man effort.  And not to make any excuse, RASE other strong defender broke her wrist during the tournament. Don't believe she played in the last two games.

LFS has has a number of studs. But as far as the defender go I would like to take this opportunity to recruit her. Feel free to PM me so I can get those uniforms out to you. If you give me a second I will post rumors about your coach and your team falling apart. Oh and on your way out could you tell the RASE player it's time to come back home (she looked great)

I just heard that JK is moving back to europe with Brek Shea before qualifying and starting a boy band. They said he will be dropping the team in the next couple of weeks.

That would explain why Brek was there last weekend.

just heard from a very reliable source that several top players from LFS black were jumping ship and heading over to spirit after they saw the spirit website they wanted to be part of #1

Naw...let me confuse u a bit more...
Only team DTS hasn't beaten...yet... Is RASE.
DTS defeated LFS 2-1..LFS who lost to Clark and tied kicks
Clark who has lost the last 4 meetings to DTS
And the Kicks who lost 7-0 in Feb to DTS...that's just the LFS connection minus the Dalglish factor...that usually handles LFS and lost the last 2 to DTS...there's no gap and not much to figure out...

I guess RASE DOES get the consistency award though

I said I don't recall. Prior to this weekend, I haven't seen LFS Black is last 7 months or so.

As posted before DTS has wins in all most recent matchups with Spirit, Scott, LFS, and Dalglish. Twice over Scott and Three over Spirit. Possibly most stingy defense but they do struggle finishing against certain teams (ahem, like when they get "stung"). I believe last girls loss was September.

Don't try and turn this into a DTS is better than RASE debate... Just a simple DTS is the next contender up for the title...the title in which RASE holds...

The reason why this thread and the tourney thread blew up is that there was a certain mystique given to RASE. We haven't seen them play girls (outside of KA) since last year and we have been seeing that De-facto label on the top of the rankings ever since. Due to this mystique, I've been firmly convinced they would not play 04G next year due to them being THAT much better than the other top 04G teams and not being able to reap any benefit from it. I was just about convinced they were the next SRSA.

After this weekends scores, we are seeing a lot of forum activity because a lot of posters are no longer convinced they are unbeatable and there are RASE posters defending the perceived low scoring from them. I will say its entertaining from a spectator standpoint. Last spring/early summer when SRSA came back and destroyed some top teams FBR had them ranked 30 points above the 2nd placed team. I don't think many people were surprised by this and the forum banter reflected it.

While I still think RASE is the best team, I no longer thing they are untouchable on a bad day like I thought of SRSA when they had their roster of a year ago. I think this is a good thing because teams may actually come out and play them instead of giving in to the mystique.

At the very least, the de-facto banner is off the rankings

..and that's the consensus.

Didn't cross midline? You are delusional. You guys were obviously expecting a similar game plan to what you saw in the game against the White team. Where was your defensive line when it was just trying to dump the ball over the top and chase it down? I'm quite sure they were in their defensive 3rd. How did that work out for you? Better work on the speed drills. Parking the bus? If the White team was parking the bus, how were there 5 or 6 offsides calls just past midfield? I guess they just lined up with 10 across the midline. Don't recruit? C'mon man! I suppose the girl from DTS just strolled up to practice on a whim. Been contacted by somebody from RASE camp myself. There's nothing wrong with recruiting anyway. You guys need to get over yourself! Just call it like it is. Were talking about 10 yr old girls here. Contrary to what y'all might think, they're not professional athletes and RASE is not a professional team. If you want to play boys, play boys. We all realize we are not worthy to grace the same field as the mighty RASE. We should be supporting these girls and their efforts, not criticizing them.
