This is just a curiosity question, not meant to bring on more age group debate Very Happy

In areas where birth year is already in place, what do the kids with Sep-Dec birthdates due their senior year when the rest of their club team have already graduated? Do they just practice, form new Sep-Dec teams, etc?

That's not NTSSA is it. You keep saying it's going to happen summer of 2016 and I keep saying I'm 99% certain it won't so stop scaremongering and calling people out saying they are wrong I want to see proof you are right and I don't see any
I don't doubt it WILL happen but was told even if it does the 06's will be grandfathered in so don't scare the 06 patents
NTSSA won't act until it is mandated because it impacts too many organizations. It could be 3 years before it all works as it should IF It's voted on Summer 2015.

it is not about scaring anyone. Its about everyone being informed as soon as possible. I am of the opinion that this should be posted on either the NTSSA website, Lake highlands website, etc... the sooner people know, the better.

Can I ask what the calendar year makeup of your team is sir?

It makes no difference what age my teams are because it's not going to effect them!
Absolutely you need to be informed which is why you need to talk to USSF and NTSSA and get their views, only then can you make an informed decision.
So after collecting all the information I was given I can inform my 06 parents that there is nothing to worry about in your age group.........which is not what you are saying!
Now I also coach the 07's but I can't reassure them with the same information

I am not sure what agenda you have here- seems like an odd one to me- even your link is misleading and does not tell the full story of the Puget Sound PL age chart...see attached link

They gave their members an option... allows them a choice. A read of the full page shows that. Also informs them that if they choose one of the options they are possibly "playing up" based on the make up of their roster.

I am going back to my hole now. Been years since I posted and looks to be best to keep it that way.

Every coach and DOC has an agenda... each is different based on where they sit and what they have in front of them sir.

WHEN the changes happen (because I think they will) I and the parents in the club will act on those mandates but until then it's business as usual, looking for some strong Aug-Dec 05's for my 06 Aguero team..........like everyone else!

Wouldn't it make sense it wouldn't be implemented until 2016 regardless? All new contract dates would be Jan 1- Dec 31.
