That's a pretty thick and sturdy limb your going out on OZ2K, but hard to argue with it.  There are some good bracket games.  Looking forward to a good weekend.

How is it that Solar always get the easiest draws in group play? Two bottom tier D1 teams and a D3 team. Seems like the PLD TD could have split these teams up much better. I also noticed a D1 team playing silver, so why is there a D3 team playing Gold again? Very strange to say the least.

Yea SoccerJack, I sure did but it'll come true for me this time. Solar wins the whole thing this weekend. It would have been a good bet anyway but odds got more favorable given their guest player.   One player shouldn't have a huge impact with 21 other DDs on the field but this one does.

The number 1 team always gets the easiest draw. In every sport. Quit your crying and beat them.

Really??? There is favorable draws and then there is a Solar Pulp Draw, when your beating teams 9-0 & 8-1?? That should tell you something!! Unless of course your too stupid and blinded by the Chelsea colored glasses.

I read it. They would have done the same thing with or with out the player you mention. I'm sure they brought her along as insurance and think they are a shoe in to win it all. Eventually they will have to earn it. Unfortunately that's not the case in group play or the Qtrs as they will most likely play A team from the group they just killed again. I just don't see the logic in a draw like that. The top teams should have been more spread out IMO!! I'm not crying, just a fact!

Oh and by the way who tagged them as #1? QT results would suggest they are #5

u realize 8 out of 12 teams make the playoffs right? I for one, am glad they have an ez draw cuz they ain't in our bracket. only one bracket has two teams get eliminated in bracket play. brackets meaningless in this tourney.

Group play isn't meaningless if you look at the Qtrs format. Group A #1 plays the Wildcard #2. That's like the dream Draw, automatic Semi spot. Who knows though, maybe Feet shocks the world Tomorrow?

I find the playoff format for this tournament curious, to say the least.

Why matchup Sting Black, who had the second most points in group play, with Solar East, the top second seed, in the QF? And in my opinion a team that should have been no lower than the four seed to begin with. Why are the two weaker #2 seeds playing each other, thereby guaranteeing at least one of them will make the semifinals? While I am aware that is how it was initially drawn up, why not reseed?

It would have taken a six year old thirty seconds to do the math and would clearly be a more thoughtful way to proceed, for everyone involved.

Solar had to call in the best 05 as a guest to make sure they win the tourney? Why do that when you already have the best team, insult to the rest of their team. If you are the best player and gonna guest, why not play with with an underdog and see how good you are- some teams and players want the the easy way

Who said Solar had the best team? There are a couple really good teams left in this Tourney. Unfortunately Solar will only have to go through 1 of them. What a Cake Walk Draw for Solar!!!! Must be taking TD on a trip to the Islands after this one Mr Manager!!!

anybody find it interesting that the #1 LH qualifier for the super group barely made the playoffs of this tourney? (without winning a game and they were out scored by a pile)

I understand the solar hate cuz we all hate the top several that never lose but for occasionally to each other but...aren't lp, solar and sting in the semis no matter what? Any given day of course - I get it. 4th spot went to Rush this time around. coulda been Solaztecs or a couple others just as easily. 'It's not fair that rush had an easier draw than solaztecs in quarters... Blah blah blah). Beat who you play. A few teams do that a lot. I get tomorrow off!!! woo hoo!
