I think we are safe - D1 Predictions

What hasn't been mentioned is why would the ECNL coaches allow their D1 counterparts to borrow their top players? There is always an injury risk when you play. As stated earlier in this thread, sure a player that is at the bottom of the ECNL roster may make sense but why would a top of the (ECNL) roster player be either DR or CPP'd.

Yeah, SG 3:1 DTN. Solar up 2-0 at half and scored early in 2nd to seal it. DTN played a really open game. Better soccer than their hunker down approach from past. They moved the ball pretty well at times and created a few chances. Scored a nice one touch goal late. SG missed some good chances and gk made some good saves for DTN.

Sting Ferretti 2 – Sting Royal Brown 2 -- Game Summary: Brown scored their goal quickly in the first 5-7 minutes of the game with Ferretti coming back with the equalizer about 10 minutes later. Ferretti then scored an own goal to give Brown the lead 2-1 in the last 5-6 minutes of the first half. Second half had shots on both sides with Ferretti scoring their second goal with less than a minute left in the game. Biased Opinion: Ferretti seemed to give Brown a better game than they were expecting and seemed to control the ball probably about 70% of the time. (Biased opinion) On a whole a good game by both teams!

Nice job! Bias towards own Dd's is not only expected but encouraged... Actually, I have a little constructive criticism ... you seem a bit too modest, hesitant ... Here, let me help out and translate for you... I believe this is what you meant to say...

"Aside from the 1st 10 min., we kicked their butts up and down the field... Heck, our girls got so aggressive , that we scored one on ourselves (you're welcome Coach Brown).... If they possessed the ball more than 30%, then I'm wearing pink panties...In nutshell we scored 3 goals and Brown only scored once.  

IMO, Brown swaggered onto the pitch and seemed surprised that we had audacity to show up... People, that is why we play the game! They were so relieved to get the tie, several of the girls (and Coach Brown) gave coach Bruno a hug after the game!"

Now McCarthy, that a post game report! I expect improvement from you next time around!
