FBR09 Rankings October 17th, 2017

Updated 09 FBR as of 10/17/17. Only 09 teams with 3 or more games played since 4/29/17 are included in the FBR published rankings. All games in the U9 leagues and tournaments that "publish results" are included.  

FBR09 will also include any 09 teams playing against each other in the 08 division.  As long as the teams that are playing up are not using 08 players when playing against other 09 teams.

Also, ranking points are derived from who you play and their tier(not your own tier) and, how well the teams you play do.  As always regulation scores are used for FBR, not OT and no PKs that determine game result(if known).  FBR is presented as W/L/T not W/T/L.  This FBR is the sole representation of FBR09,  any and all complaints(and compliments) should be directed to FBR09.  These rankings use the same software and criteria as with all prior year FBRs.

Does anyone know enough about the top 20 teams to group them into tiers (other than the general consensus that Rush is likely the best team at the moment)?  I'm familiar with a few of the Top 20 teams but don't really know anything about most of them...

#12 and #13 are great teams, great coaches, good group of girls been together for awhile.

Angelone, samba, Colvin, xtreme, kicks, spirit and fever have all been around pretty much since u6 and/or u7.

Would be great if the top 8 could get together and make sure play round robin in a spring league

Colvin, Angelone, Covey, Moreno, Scarfone, and Vaughn already do round robins in winter and spring before regular season.

If PrimeTime would limit each division to 9 or so teams, league play would be a round robin of the top teams. It was closer to a round robin in the Spring when it was only 10. 15 teams in a league with only 8 games is just too many. Take a team like FCD Xtreme... they don't play Scarfone Samba or Solar Angelone all season while others play both. It definitely makes the schedules unbalanced and the better teams don't get to play all the strong teams in the league.

Prime time should have made a platinum division, gold, silver and bronze. Or gold , silver A and B, and bronze. Maybe prime time can do a 9 v 9 for the 09s in the spring? I believe the 08s do it now, does anyone know??

What's good about the round robin that Vaughn is referring to is that they are friendlies and the results don't go on gotsoccer. It's helpful from a training perspective and the coaches aren't as concerned about winning or losing. Some of the teams tried different lineups to see what would work best before league play.

Ok, but what about the spring season? Shouldn't all the best teams play each other over and over, win, lose, or tie

Hoping Rush will play in the ‘09 division in the upcoming tournaments.

lol right... tournament every other weekend that's off season plus my daughter plays other sports just for fun i don't want to burn her out. I would also love to see Rush play other 09 teams.

Interesting result in the Solar Covey vs Scarfone Samba game... and I heard that Covey had a PK that they kicked straight to the keeper or they would have won.

Anyone can beat anybody at any given time in this league.

It's nice to see more competitive games at the top.

Tournament time. All teams will have guest players. Going to be interesting. Kids will change teams.
