How about a human poll/BCS to get everyone's 02 opinions out there?

I am sorry, I have to step back in here. Ok Jen_nah, it is okay for your team to use guests when you are down but not ours?? One game we had 5 girls out, we replaced them with 3 guests, (1-higg, 1-bennett and 1 solar/stark) Also, as I have mentioned before we have 11 girls on our team, I think it is okay to get 2 guests, is there really an argument about that?? And to be honest, we asked my friends dd's to play with us and I would have asked them no matter what team they played on! My daughter has played on a team with all the girls we had guest with us at one time or another (except 1 girl) so it was very nice to have them with us on the field again and be able to hang out with their parents and just talk.

Vigil team does not stack the deck, we replace players that are missing from our team, it was a happy thing for us to do well against your team, not a gloating or vengeful thing like some may be trying to make it, we played your team free of guests at the begining of the year and lost only 1-0, what's the excuses there? I am tired of our girls not getting the credit they deserve, we must have surprised your team if you are having arguments about little ol'Vigil team and their 2 guest players. I have never seen such soar winners in my life than some of the people that splatter this forum.

I guess my friends and I should go on a picnic next time, but our dd's all play soccer, so what can you do?

holy crap! from totally boring to this!!? i lost track and couldn't finish reading it all. but i think i got the gist - all bennett's players went to vigil who have gone to liverpool and penn/webb may be losing a player to rangel and there's lawsuit over a broken arm for damages caused in FBR rankings. or something like that. i gotta get another beer.

In case it is not obvious yet, the only people who keep stirring the forums pot this month regarding the DT Bennett team are no longer on the Bennett team, or were never on the team to start with.

In fact, it is quickly becoming more and more obvious that many of the original pot-stirrers were actually subverting from the outside, pretending to be on the team but really have a fun time trying to tear it down. Given how many people talk, and how many people post, it was not hard to find out just enough info to sound like an insider, given how public the stupidity got. The subversives should be happy: they scored a victory. They managed to apply a lot of pressure on one of the best teams in 02, they may have inherited some players from the Glotz team to their teams/clubs, they caused some lost sleep for parents, the broke up some kid friendships in the long run, and they watched Coach Glotz step aside.

Some parents left because they felt compelled based almost entirely on one incident that snowballed like an Oliver Stone movie. That's great, not because anyone really wanted them to go but because it clears the air, both for those who make the choice to stay and for those that left. Everyone does better when they decide to become positive.

The parents that have decided to remain on DT Bennett are very positive and optimistic with this core group of girls and parents. Most importantly, Tim is a very good coach with a lot of high-level soccer experience. It is easy to see this on the pitch, as the girls are making good progress and the team is having fantastic practices.

I have no doubt that this DT Bennett team will be a force in 02 soccer for years to come. We are now inoculated for the subversive virus too -- a valuable experience. Those that have chosen to remain have learned that negative banter on forums never results in positive anything, unless you have a subversive agenda and want to sow the seeds of fear, uncertainty, and doubt.

We look forward to see everyone on the field, playing smart, hard, and fair soccer, because I doubt any of us will be spending a lot of time posting here.

I am sorry if I upset you and can delete it if you would like. I don't think by putting only one letter out there people will know who I'm talking about. So Bennett will prevail after losing 6 of their starters! Wake up people. They will still be a good team but not great. Maybe top 15, but Bennett will leave after December then what. That coach is a joke. Yes he is very good at what he does but too good for 02 girls. Good luck too all the DD that stayed you all are the heart of that team not the coach or DT. Any of yall can step onto any team and make a huge difference for their club.

Bennett says he is not leaving. Trust him, he would not lie. As long as two defenders don't go to Higg the Bennett team will be fine. Still top 5-7 team.

It's really just sad. Texans had two really good teams. They lost some good little players. They just lost their whole North division too. Maybe this was Higg plan to screw over Ahmed and Bubb best he could. Looks like he did great job.

It is sad cuz the kids are the victims! I would bet the people that left are the crazy ones that caused the problems. I feel sorry for the teams they went to!!!!! Where did they go???

That's a whole lot of crazy people. Half an 02 team. Then a whole 02,03,04,05 team all gone. Grab your ankles sir we have your red kool-aid enema ready. Lol

Knowing a number of the people involved, I don't think there is anyone to feel sorry about. The Glotz Alumni are not crazy but rather got caught up in a chain reaction that was difficult to stop. The ones that left are happy that they took action. The ones that stayed are happy that they decided to stay. I think what made people crazy was deciding what to decide because that took a long time dragging out until the end of the fall season. The teams that picked up alumni players have already found out that they have quality kids and parents, not a powder keg waiting to blow.
