WHAT HAPPENED???????

Just recently, I posted on a Liverpool thread about what happened to a coach of a couple of their top Academy Teams. The response I got after that was Absolutly Overwhelming, with people telling me about what they thought happened. I find this real ODD. The reason why is because it seemed to me that there were a lot of people that knew about what has taken place in early November. So I started asking all the people that sent me PM's about this and why they didn't post about this on the Forum. Almost all of them said they did. So my next question is where are all of the threads that were posted about this??? Hmmmm. There are none, so I quickly realized that all of these threads were removed by Txsoccer.net. Next question is why??? I mean this seems pretty important and surely a big deal considering that these were 7,8 & 9 year old little girls that this man was coaching and LFCA is a top Club here in NTX and last I checked the whole reason that this soccer forum exist is because it's a network for people to get info. Right?????? I guess what I'm trying to get at is that I think people should be informed of the real situation with LFCA and their coaches who I might add are questionable at best. The more questions I ask people who seem to know a little or a lot about LFCA's coaching situation are just as appalled as I am by this unfortunate situation. I think people should be informed about what they are getting themselves into with these academy coaches, and all the clubs should be transparent when it comes to things like background checks and the character of these coaches, after all these are just little girls that are being
coached and tought the game they love. Does it not matter any whether these coaches are from a clean background or have quality Character?

The next thing I realized pretty quickly browsing through the forum looking for these threads that were said to be started. I noticed a thread about the president of FCD getting arrested. Now this is completely wrong. So let me get this right, when the president of FCD gets arrested it's ok to post about that and it has nothing to do with our kids playing competitive soccer, but when a coach for a Top Academy Club In NTX Gets Arrested for organized criminal activities it's not ok to post about that??? That not right.
So then I started wondering???? What's really going on here?? Could LFCA be hiding even more about what was actually happening??? These are serious questions, that should be answered. I know if my DD or BB was playing for an academy or select club that had this going on, I would remove them immediately to a different club. Then it dawned on me.......WOW!!!!! Could this cover up attempt be all about money and not losing players????? Really people!!!!!! My kids safety and well being is more important than that, and it really makes me very upset the level some of these clubs will stoop to and try and keep players.

This is a public situation, just like the FCD situation is.

SHAME on TXSOCCER.NET and LFCA, you guys make me SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else have thoughts on this??? You better post quick, because it won't take long for this to get removed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They will probably kick me off this site for what I'm saying, but I don't care. I'll just start my own forum on NTX soccer, atleast it will be fair and unbiased.

WOW!!!!!! It's people like you that make academy and club soccer unbearable at times. Maybe you don't care if your DD or BB are being coached by people with no Character and who only care about themselves, but I can assure you i do care and Im not going to stand by while clubs try and hide this sort of incompetent action.

Liverpool didn't skirt or cover anything. They met with his parents and told them about the incident. He was put on suspension pending the charges. They supported him as he is innocent until proven guilty! He chose to resign.

His parents were made aware, nothing was covered up, and unless your daughter played for him, it's not your business.

OP went about this in the wrong manner, but I must agree that something does not smell right.

I can recall a thread that reached many pages regarding a coach who supposedly made their 8-9 year olds run some crazy number of laps. This coaches was absolutely ripped to shreds, yet there is virtually no mention of a coach being arrested.

I'm the furthest thing from a conspiracy theorist, but this just isn't adding up.

this is the entire story, there is just nothing else there; agreed homie has another agenda and not sure what it is but thats for another thread.

Seriously, you make it sound like the club was involved. Sounds to me they handled it pretty upfront with the parties involved. I also wonder if homie will come back later if he's cleared of any wrong doing? Doubt it.

I'm on this board practically everyday and your post was the first I've read of it on here. I'd heard about the incident but never saw it posted so without the full story I didn't think it was worth bringing it up.

How is a club responsible for a coaches actions on his own time? Is your boss responsible for your last traffic ticket....be realistic.

Sorry to burst your bubble but as soon as LFCA found out about it, they dealt with it. Again no cover up...no skirting...they met w the parents and told them.

Why is that so hard for you to believe...

I guess since they tried to respect his privacy and didn't tell you about it they were covering it up????

Homie, I don’t know what your motives are here. My daughter and family are right in the middle of the situation and I can tell you that you are way off base on this one. Every one of the girls and the parents would sign on to play with the coach in question at the drop of the hat. If it appears that LFCA is trying to cover something up, it may be because they have done nothing wrong. I would suggest that you withhold your harsh criticism until you have a better understanding of the situation.

Mrshomie - you had valid question that understandably required answers, but you have shot all of your credibility with your rambling accusatory allegations.

While it is frightening that a man with a dark side to him was around any children, why in the world would you place blame on Liverpool? I don't know of any club that supplies handlers to coaches to track their every move away from the soccer field.

It would have been much easier to call him a scum bag and been done with it. However, you felt the need to drag other people that had nothing to do with the situation into it. Why?
