WHAT HAPPENED???????

Why were threads deleted regarding this and who deleted them? Which forum were the threads deleted in?

I have no idea who the coach is or what he's been accused of, so any specific information would be helpful.

All I am saying is I hope he didn't do what he is being accused of. It wouldn't be the first time in America. Arrest and police reports are not guilty verdicts. If he did it he will be found guilty and the felony charge will kill his coaching career and you will be happy . I will find it sad that a young guy made poor choices that destroyed his life. Just a different view in life I guess. You revel in watching others fall, I wish people the best and hope they rise. The "Mules FC" was funny but the genuine wishing for the downfall of a man is sad (you hope he did this ).

i assume you meant that you would NOT let your dd spend the weekend alone with any grown man. the sad thing is that Tahlon's kids coaching career is over. Just the arrest will kill his career. No parent will take the chance now with him. I am not frothing at the mouth like bigtex or homie because i am not sure what the charge means. Was he around someone who was doing those things and got caught in the sweep for that person, was he the kingpin, did he sell an ounce of pot to a cop? i don't know i am not a lawyer. Regardless in life you can never 100 percent trust anyone and must always keep your guard up to protect your kids.

Maybe the FCD was up because what was being discussed was the public information in the news. Now if let's say hommie came on and said the FCD pres was high on cocaine and a room full of hookers. And someone sent him a PM telling him that then maybe it would have been deleted?

But where's the FCD consipracy? The pres took a leave, FCD didn't fire him. FCD covered it up. They are a terrible organization that we shouldn't let our kids around. If only they had done the magical background check. It can predict all future behavior and they would have know.

Just because you have a clean background doesn't mean you aren't a crimminal, doesn't mean you don't beat your wife. It just means you haven't been convicted of it.

One post was deleted as of yesterday that I know of. It was started in the 05 forum about Rase 05 either late last week or the beginning of this week and they were needing a goalie and CP was referenced as the coach of the team. Someone questioned what happened to TD. It was responded he was on a "break". Someone chimed in "really"? And one of the people on this thread, whom I won't mention, responded that it was such a great move on LP's part to put CP in this position and it is great for the team and the organization or something to that affect. Nothing slanderous to TD just questioning the replacement. Subject was dropped. I can't find the thread in the 05 forum anymore...

I guess that is a question for Friscosoccer since he is the moderator for that forum....

I expect what I highlighted in red above is a typo... or at least I hope it is.

I don't wish for anyone's downfall but that's mostly because there's no value in something like that for me. I don't benefit in anyway from this young man's struggles or the result of this news. The only benefit for me from this entire board is information. I need information that makes me a smarter customer.

What I don't like is that, when it comes time to help one another as parents in this market, the Liverpool folks decided to stay silent and then eventually attack someone that was willing to speak out. (And yes, go99, you're one of those people I'm pointing at with that statement.) The shame here is on you all that decide not to tell others and help us keep our children safer.

Yes, if you are so "bothered" by this situation and you have the balls, I'm sure he would talk with you. My suggestion would be for everyone to just move on and let this young man and the system deal with the allegations.

I didn't tell others because I have nothing to tell. So there was no help being provided here. There was no information being provided. There was a bunch of sally kissed kevin and that helps nobody. I am not a fan of deleting post but this forum has to make sure it does not get caught in someone elses slander. It's why they moderate the forum.

We need to look at why posts were deleted on this forum. Back to the
thread I mentioned before... Why was it deleted? Nothing slanderous in the

If any of us rely on this forum to check out a coach or a team or a club for our DD to play with than you are in big trouble. There are a ton of people new to soccer that dont even know about this forum. Guest, ask friends you trust who don't hide behind several avatars on a forum, heck do a background yourself there are a ton of companies you can use.

"offensive" is a relative term. What one of us considers offensive might be considered relevant by someone else. (If you don't like offensive comments then why wasn't DDRedux banned a long long time ago?)

Even if he is not guilty of what he has been accused of, the mere association and fact that he was involved in any way, shape or form should be enough for parents to run away as fast as they can.

I do not know what he is accused of as I choose not to believe everything I hear on this forum, but where there is smoke there is fire. We as a group have to collectively look out for the best interest of ALL children and put on the field rivalries aside in situations like this.

Sorry solar that is exactly what people are wishing for so they should just own it. First he is not in the public eye. He is a coach not a celebrity. So he has not given up a right to privacy.

So even if he is found not guilty he really was because there was smoke. And everybody should not only abandon him but also the club? Because you have to protect the kids.

My 2 pesos worth- Having had the pleasure of playing for a team on LP, I just want to say that I agree that LP acted in the appropriate way. They dealt with the situation ASAP. People will say he resigned or was suspended. Really does not matter to me. Just that he was taken away from his team(s).
I want to thank Homie for bringing this to the light. I just think that your thread was also driven by some type of hate for the club as a whole.
I dont agree with slandering the guy but I also am upset that there are people on here trying to protect him. He could be the greatest coach in the world and be the best coach/player communicator but IF he is involved in certain activities that put him in danger, I do not want my child around him. With what he is being accused of- trouble/danger would follow him constantly.
It is upsetting that threads about this might have been deleted.
Not sure to what level TD was involved with what he is being charged but the police department thinks it has enough info on him.

Sorry go, being found innocent is not the same as being trusted with children. My kids are too valuable to roll the dice with questionable people. Just being around criminals disqualifies you in my eyes from being around kids because it shows bad judgement and there are plenty of other people to hire besides shady characters, convicted or not.
