Hey TRD, I have an '08 who I have taught myself, knows every soccer skill there is and is one of the faster girls at her age in the state. Oh, and she's looking for a challenge. Could she play up?

Sounds promising Suspect . Try her at another level first and see how she does. Also, please video tape her in the upcoming 5 year old bracket state foot race.

LP 04- definitely an age group LP owns
LP 05 - good representation for LP. I would say DT are at the top though
LP 06 - no 'unofficial ranking' out on this age yet, but I would say no team in the top 15 at least. (Perhaps Andro and Skeets working on a merger to LP)
07- way to early to tell. Good that you guys have a head start on everyone else, just a little too much over-selling for my taste. But good luck to you and your team.

Liverpool 06G Barnes cleaned up in PT Gold and have never lost a game indoor or outdoor so I'm thinking they might creep in your mythical top 15. If not, I'd be interested in seeing who's included in that list.

There's also a great Liverpool team out west in Keller area, too.

I dunno 3-4-3, I think the '04 parents are giving the '01's a serious run for their money as the most insane group of academy parents in the history of NTX soccer... and the '07's seem to be doing a pretty good job out of the gate. Maybe there's something to the 3-year cycle???

What's amazing is how much the '01's have mellowed (outside of Hook It, that is Very Happy ). Hardly any discussion of '01 State Cup last week???

Where have the halcyon days of knock-down, drag-outs between Slata, Mayday, MiddleClass, Kenshi, 1More, Hobbit, CrownMama, RalfDallas, UltimateSoccerMom, et. al. gone???

...and by the way, SoccerTalker's faux pas was a classic, and his dogged insistence of defending his original point is what really lead to his complete and utter forum beatdown... and why you still see the occasional snarky comment about tall grass affecting the outcome of games today. Ah, the good 'ol days! Very Happy

It's funny how standings and head to head have ruined the debate..... I will say I thought, I with Feet, Slata with Sting/Kicks, USM with TFC and others were pretty vehement in our defense of our DD's chosen club. I was wrong, we couldn't hold the jock of the parents of the Top 05'-07' Liver teams... If were are not careful NTX Soccer will soon be comprised of one club composed of 1000 Liver teams shooting to knock one another off for the coveted RASE or Elite title... AND STILL NO ECNL SPOT affraid Twisted Evil affraid

lol, wtf, is this really "putting yourself out there?". Jesus, the dudes not proposing to some gal he met yesterday or being the first guy down the ramp on Omaha beach, he is saying that at 6yrs old your daughter better already be skilled as by that point Liv ain't in the business of polishing any turds.

Its all good. But its also all pretty funny.

Ok, you're probably right, 15 is a little low. Barnes is more around 7-10. Which isn't bad.
I'd put Chacon, Torres, Martinez, McDaniel, Triumph tops.
Then Fusion, Barnes, GSSC, Mutiny, FC Extreme in no particular order.
I'd be interested in seeing where you would put your team?

Did the VIPERS by any chance take over LP and their esteemed ECNL spot already?

Keep your eyes peeled for the National Premier League, and of course, once the Academy has graduated into Select it, too, should meet the requirements of ECNL. But, I suppose planning for 2021 makes sense.

It's worth sending my 07 DD just for their homework assignments both monthly and end of each practice. She really struggles with that in school. Maybe LP coach can help!

Wow, talk about a blast from the past. I remember ST getting so frustrated it came to personal threats. Wonder if he is still at TSN.
