LP 04- definitely an age group LP owns
LP 05 - good representation for LP. I would say DT are at the top though
LP 06 - no 'unofficial ranking' out on this age yet, but I would say no team in the top 15 at least. (Perhaps Andro and Skeets working on a merger to LP)
07- way to early to tell. Good that you guys have a head start on everyone else, just a little too much over-selling for my taste. But good luck to you and your team.
Liverpool 06G Barnes cleaned up in PT Gold and have never lost a game indoor or outdoor so I'm thinking they might creep in your mythical top 15. If not, I'd be interested in seeing who's included in that list.
Let's add the LP 98G & 00G girls to the list -
State Cup Champions
What happened to the ECNL clubs?
According to the ECNL schedule, three of those clubs (D'Feeters, FC Dallas, and Sting) top '00 and '98 teams were playing ECNL league games during the 1st weekend of State Cup. Don't know about the other two clubs, or to what extent any of those clubs have players that are dual rostered to ECNL/USYSA teams, and would thus be eligible to play in State Cup.

Because when you're in ECNL, state cup is irrelevant!

Liverpool Gerrard in The Colony, or Liverpool Fowler in Allen.
Both teams have a top to bottom roster of talented players with equal abilities.
Each player can execute every skill and technique and have been for over a year - scissors, step overs, zico's, l-turns, bring downs (juggle in the air to trap), etc., and can one-touch and two-touch pass without hesitation at varying distances.
They are assigned homework at the beginning of each month and at the end of each practice.
Players on both teams already understand each position and their role.
They are all taught to do the right things by how and when to pass, how and when to beat a player, and are not permitted to aimlessly play kick ball, use their toe, or do anything else that is detrimental to their development just for the sake of a win or goal.
Challenge your daughter and be part of a team full of technically skilled players.
PM for details if you are in the Frisco/Plano/Colony/Lewisville/Carrollton area for Liverpool Gerrard, or Allen/Richardson/McKinney/East Plano or Frisco area for Liverpool Fowler.
Not currently accepting players new to the game. Neither team is in "build" mode.

Well dang... I guess all other clubs just need to give up! No point in even trying if these girls are so good. I guess all clubs just need to pack up and go home.

What does this have to do with other girls/teams not trying? I see you find it offensive there is something available to parents and players who would like more than a new team. This post is not for you, then.

I believe the common term on the street is "puppy mill," when players are brought in simply because they come with a paycheck.

Gee, they haven't all peaked at 5? But..but...but these ones know EVERY skill! He said a kid without some prior training would not be welcome to train with this group. Which is fine and all, but its a bit more harsh sounding to some than "you might be a bit behind and it will be tough and I don't want anybody to feel inadequate". To each his own. The best '03 I know was unskilled and playing goofball rec at the age of 6, athletic kids catch up pretty quickly, its a long haul and many ways to get there.

Which is exactly what Liverpool and the majority of the big clubs are. Get away from the Pre-Academy or ECNL teams (for the ones that have them others D1 teams) and generally all they care about is taking money.
When I played you RARELY saw a Texans, Solar, or Liverpool team outside of the LH or Dallas Classic leagues. And they only had 2 divisions in each league! Liverpool FC America was the same but under their former name. Now days you see Solar, Texans, and Liverpool teams all the way down in Plano 2... There's so many teams in each age bracket that you could make a Liverpool only league! Back then when you had a Solar, Texans, or Liverpool team (I want to say their club was called Everton?) you knew you had to bring your A game because it was a quality squad... now days I've seen teams that fly the Solar, Texans, or Liverpool flag that couldn't beat some recreational teams!
BTW, I didn't find the post offensive as much as I did Cocky. You make it seem like these girls are already at Manchester United's level. My post was a bit sarcastic, but that's a little tough to convey over a message board.

...but if your puppy is only potty trained and can't yet sit up, speak, roll-over, shake hands, or balance a treat on their nose until you tell them it's o.k. to eat it, don't bother bringing them out to a LP Gerrard '07 or LP Fowler '07 practice...

Funniest thing about the post is it says this:
Neither team is in "build" mode.
Yet... let's look at the Gerrard team:
In all their pictures the most number of players I see is 6. So what happens when next season they go to 8v8 or 9v9... unless the coach is keeping them in 3v3 or 4v4 leagues...
Now lets look at the Fowler team:
Pretty sure 2 of the girls on this squad also play on the Gerrard squad... so, that takes that team down from 9 to 7... what happens when you go to 8v8 or 9v9???
However the funniest thing with the "Not in build mode" statement is... WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS POST THEN??
Why are you posting that you're looking for players if you're not trying to BUILD a team?! Can you please answer this?!?! I'm a little confused... you say you're looking for players, but then you state neither team is in build mode... I'm confused.

They are looking for players that have already been developed ("built") by other coaches. That's how many coaches roll these days. They assemble.

- Solar's been around for 36 years
- Texans have been around for 20 years
- Liverpool used to be called something else I want to say Everton FC or something and that club was around for a while.
I'm not going to say I've been around club soccer for 50+ years, but there was a time when these types of clubs only had 1 or 2 teams in each age bracket and were high quality teams. I remember other clubs that aren't around now, those are just the current "big clubs" and the ones I was using for examples.

The girls we already have on the roster are so advanced that the government gave them a special waiver that allowed them to vote in the last presidential election. If your DD didn’t get to vote, then you need to stay away from our fields.
One of our girls invented the internet. Can your DD say that? If not, then get away from us.

Everton FC formed in 2005 from the awesomely named Soccer America Soccer Club and I thought became TFC a few years later, but maybe TFC just took over their fields and Everton became Liverpool. Although the founder of SASC and is now a Director at TFC - so that is a little confusing and maybe why I thought Everton became TFC, same fields, same director.
Wouldn't be a bad idea to have a history section on this forum.

Let me help with your confusion. Liverpool Gerrard has 11 girls on their roster, and Liverpool Fowler has 6 on their roster, with six other players trying out. Neither of the teams have players that play for one another. This past weekend, the teams combined players at the last minute to play v the '06s.
I see a handful of, "he said," or, "you said," without me ever actually typing it.
The ad broadcasts a place for players looking for more to play. As Gunner said, nothing more, nothing less than a place to play for players with previous experience.
I hope your dd develops into a strong player, wherever she plays. If she outgrows her team and the practices are being slowed down for the players that are behind, or the new players being welcomed and your dd needs a place to continue her development - this is a place to come to. Dallas Kicks is another, Liverpool Keegan if you're in the Keller/Southlake area is another.
