That would leave them with ZERO girls teams in select with a proven track record if he took those with him.

Thursday’s rumor was that Solar may be merging with Rush. This forum is better than watching Days of our Lives back in the mid late 80’s! So delicious!

Well, that could prove very interesting! It wouldn't just leave Liverpool with zero teams with a proven track record, it would leave them with NO teams in the 2000 LH divisions at all if he takes the team with him.

Division 1 would now look as follows:

Solar (?) Pulpanek
Sting Rezaie
Sting West Richardson
Stink Harr
Solar Canevari
Andromeda
Lady Aztecs
Sting North
FC Dallas Blue

Liverpool has no other 2000 teams unless they purchase some before league play begins.

Chris Pulpanek built 2 great teams as a top coach with FCDALLAS and not sure why he left to go to LP, but maybe it had to do with Peter Brody offering him a leadership position...IE TOP DOG with I am sure top pay.

LP has grown alot under CP and more people will bring more people, larger, larger,larger, more money, more money, more money.....but only 2-4 top teams... Waldrum left and took his teams, now CP leaving makes sense...no ECNL spot....if his top players want that and want the experience his players probably want to have that so CP will have to leave for his players/families best interest.

LP also has LW who has done a great job building RASE, so where does he go? what does he do? If he is getting paid really well and it is working he stays.....if he sees a better opportunity he goes and so does all those RASE kids??? YIKES!!!!

Solar-??? Dallas Rush??? TEXANS????

Anything is possible I guess but I just don't see it happening. At least for the time being it appears that the most indemand coaches are at Liverpool Smile

If the top players want to play ECNL soccer they need to be at an ECNL club, simple as that. The coaches will migrate there to help the girls make that a reality if it works for the coach.

Any club that does not have an ECNL spot will ultimately be a feeder club for the larger clubs with ECNL spots.

Hmmmm.....brand new poster with outlandish "new" rumor. Given that both Pulp teams play regional games today, seems more like a pathetic effort to create doubt and loss of focus in his teams.

This thread is about rumor a LP coach is leaving, then later someone in the thread talks about Ben leaving LP and taking his teams, and then someone brings up LW. Sounds to me that LP coaches are in demand.

Well, when you have coaches that would like to go to ECNL, and their club doesn't or can't offer it, that can drive moves (just as it does for players). Very Happy

The Pulp rumor is a fun one. He did start both of these teams back at Sting and then to FCD and onto Pool.

If he moved both of those teams to Solar, the 98s would become the ECNL team. The 00s??? Solca would not just give up that spot... And he would look at Pulp's players as well. Would be interesting

@realdecoy if you believe that having played professionaly is the auto qualifier for good coaching then you are even more clueless than ive been told. based on your qualifier explain why LP has basically exactly the same number of quality teams with proven track records as a club a fraction of the size of LP??

i would love to hear that explanation.
