I haven't seen anything to make me believe otherwise, guess I should have preceded with IMO
i admit there was a keeper that went over and trained with the academy
I heard it was a keeper from a boys team, not a young lady.
Agree on PB, LP is about his bank account and status of having the biggest club, not about being the best club for developing soccer players. Ask PB what club his son plays for? (hint - it isn't LP).

Good point, it is up to the consumer to make good coaching and team decisions. Until u-15 it probably does not matter the name across your chest, back, sleeves, socks, bags, balls, and shorts.go99 wrote:if your team wins and plays important tournaments college coaches know who you are. If you are stutting around winning and playing nothing important they don't. College coaches know very well that Texans, solar, etc have a few good teams and alot of really bad ones. It's never good to lose a top coach. But LP's issue isn't pulp or even ECNL. Oh and yes I believe the plan was to do something different but so far looks pretty much the same. Wide range of coaching talent. Coaches and their individual fiefdoms, politics and manuvering, no identifiable style of play, no clear identity, vision or philosophy. But my coach is good so I could care less really.

He needs to start his own independent club (team) so $$$ can stay in his own pockets. Oh but wait ... cost will start to accumulate and the hand will reach out to others to cover expenses.. Hmm, sounds like the same business model (plan) over again to me..
