'04 Girls FBR Rankings - 02-12-14

As I responded to you previously, TSN '04 Khoury is doing SDL D1. Oh, and please humor me by explaining how a team can drop 6 spots when not having played a game since the last FBR and when every game factored in the rankings was against teams presently ranked #9 or above? Is there some penalty built in for lack of activity? Really, you don't need to respond, I'm only messing. I believe FBR is very accurate over time. There's always going to be some isolated noise. Frankly, the present ranking may actually be right on, but just not based on past results.

SDL D2 is what was listed in the SDL team list that was sent to me. If that changes once the schedule is published, I will update it.

As for TSN's ranking drop, the answer is pretty simple. Between the last time I posted FBR in Dec. and today's post, I deleted all remaining Aug/Sept results from the database. As a result of doing that, TSN's record went from 3-8-3 to 0-5-2. Included in the dropped results were W's over Lady Aztecs, FCD Premier, and Sting Scarfone, and a draw against Sting East Chacon. With no similar strong results to replace the ones that were dropped, TSN's ranking takes a big hit.

BW, I'm not meaning to be argumentative, but you had that team list from SDL before you asked me the question and still went with the list which is cool. I just thought you wanted the correct info.

With respect to the ranking drop, I get it, that's why I said no response was really needed.

So let's get this straight.

A team that has not played any other teams in over a year is de facto #1 but a team that has played all of the top teams last 6 months without losing is #3?

At what point does undisputed no longer apply?

You must have something against the "de facto #1" team. That's twice you brought this up. Eventually they must have lost to somebody with a 10-3-4 record. That's a solid record,

When your favorite team can go >1 year without a loss or a draw to another NTX '04 girls team and then decides to go off and play against Boys, I promise to make them De-Facto #1a.  How's that?

I think Mustang meant DTS as #3 with RASE included as #1....they are the only undefeated that has played and defeated all of the top 10 this past season. This is going to be a dead season really until a nice tournament comes along.

Point is , how long does RASE get a pass for NOT playing any top 04 girls? I mean if they never played again would they be defacto # 1 after 2 years? 3?

More than a year at this age is ridiculous to give out defacto status IMO.

At the bare minimum, you will have your shot against them in August. I know there is hostility towards this team, but you seem to have a large bone to pick.

Ummm DTS will have to handle LFS first. I keep hearing about this team or that team and here I see LFS still going about kicking you guys A$$. Just ignore RASE because from what I see the team that was rumored to be falling apart is still sitting on top. And since DTS was smashing top 10 boys teams they were more than welcome to sign up in boys with RASE.

But yes here come the LP drones in mass defending greatest team ever in NTX.

They have not even played most of the top 04 in over a year so yea, that moves from undisputed to at least reasonably disputed.

I don't recall DTS beating LFS Black, maybe LFS Grey as mentioned. The difference between DTS and de facto #1, DTS can't prove to stay undefeated against other top '04 girls teams. Defending a loss, losses or tie should not merit you in the same conversation as the overall pounds 4 pounds champ.

Ask Money Mayweather. He dictates who he wants to fight, at this point RASE is doing similar.

Is this guy for real? Didn't RASE play in SDL P last spring. That's less than 1 year on my calendar. Wasn't the GD 60 something to 1? Has DTS done this? This has to be some kind of joke. There will be no boys teams chiming in cause there are no to do so. Put down the pipe man.

RASE RASE RASE...RASE the organization has everything to lose and nothing to gain by playing 04 girls...why risk advertising as the "top,undefeated, unchallenged 04 girls team?"  What IF they lose, then the mystique is tainted, the marketing ploy is redirected...

Likely a combination of both.

No one from DTS is on here claiming to be better than RASE. Sure as parents we would like to see the two teams play, but the girls have no idea about this stuff. They always ask "are we playing a good team today?" but they have no idea or concept that the crazy adults are putting them in order.

I am not sure about the boys teams overall but according to the boys forum the only "top 10" boys team we have played is DTS 04 BOYS three times going 1-1-1. One win outside with a loss and draw indoors.

For the record DTS are my #2. They are quick, athletic and play some good stuff. They are not on the same level as RASE (yet).

I can't keep up with all the stats but LFS seems to be RASE's claim to fame...oh and DTScott...I guess after kicking the snot out of those 2 teams it made no sense to play girls their age anymore? Otherwise, they've beat the same teams everyone else beats. Except for Dalglish...have they played or is it just safe to assume the outcome? No one outside blue sky would know...
