DTS striker would be a stand out for her position on RASE. While RASE has overall a better collection of shooters than DTS, there is no girl in the 04 age group who can hit like DTS striker with BOTH feet being 100% equally as good. I hear she is at over 5K juggles as well. She may not be the best 1 on 1 specialist or best defender or even best passer, but make no mistake she is the best striker in that age group.

Well I will disagree with the best striker but the point is have the other girls closed the gap on her? If they have not closed the gap on her then why whould they close the gap on rase players. I think maybe my point is getting missed. She is a great player (for a number of reasons) the player at spirit was a great player (haven't seen her recently) We have a greater number of players who are that good. Then those player go from standout individuals to playing as a group over a number of seasons together. Also 2 times a week our strikers have to try and find success against possibly the dest defender in the age group plus the legendary dalglish sweeper. They are keeping girl from scoring who are faster than her, and least 1 is definitely a better 1v1 player, or bigger than her from scoring. The CM that was mentioned. Guess what twice a week you have to combine with her or beat her.

Maybe if i put it this way. ECNL teams aren't better because the change the name or magical ECNL juice. Where a good CL team may have a few top level girls the ECNL will have way more of those girls and then train them and they push each other.

As far as training goes... no girl on RASE has it as hard as DTS 04 players going against DTS 03 defenders in practices...

I'm going to agree and disagree with Go. The DTS striker is hands down the best at that position no question about it. Now that's mano a mano, no supporting players just her ability by herself. I do agree with Go in that RASE has dynamic synergism, as a whole they are unstoppable. Right now I don't think there are any tems that have the right combination of girls to dethrone them.

maybe that last tournament was an off one because it wasn't better than the CM on RASE who does those. Besides my dd doesn't have a huffy she is too busy doing the elastico on water

You said "LEG" and this is the difference between her and DTS striker... DTS striker is that good with BOTH feet.

All of DTS headers on corner kicks have come from her delivery even on the "big" field.

To be fair, the RASE mid is a better mid than DTS Striker and sees the field better than any other player in that age group.

you guys might be right about her I certianly haven't seen her enough to disagree. The one tournament I saw DTS she was good but not that good and it wasn't the best competition certianly could have been off they are 10. Although her tally against those top teams should be better if she is that standout. So I will accept that she is infact that good.

But DTS 03 and 04 practice together? 2 teams worth of kids together kind of sucks. Hope there is at least an assistant or something

They have joint practices on occasion... Not every session. Gabe will do this up and down... 03s with 02s, 04s with 03s, and 05s with 04s.

It's a great way to force your kids to play with a better opponent and they are fortunate to have a top team in each age group to do that with.

Free kicks and corners have no opposition hit it with whatever foot gets it there. Please tell me it's accuracy or power or something other than both feet. No coach is going to tell you "I want you to take this free kick but take it with your off foot."

But if she is a deadball specialist then the key to DTS is don't give up fouls. Make her beat you off the dribble

you just downplayed the value of having the skill to kick efficiently with both left and right feet...I'm out.

Just trying to remain objective. I don't bring RASE up. Everyone else does and you incessantly argue that DTS could hang. I disagree. I know what I'm seeing regardless of where my daughter plays. That is immaterial and your grip on reality is nonexistent. You need therapy.

yes I downplayed the value of being able to kick a beadball with both feet. Now beating a defender and finishing with your off foot is a skill that you can use. I am thinking of say C Ronaldo, neymar and Nani can all crush a ball from distance with both feet but they take free kicks with their right? Now I am confused. I mean I get it during the run of play so you don't have to bring the ball back to your dominant foot. But on a deadball with no opposition I don't see the point as you could use whatever foot you want. I can't even think of a professional that does it.

It might have not been a DTS parent who started it, but MustangGT is sure a big DTS rider, I mean supporter.

The last team I recall that wanted to claim "this is where we stand against RASE cause we beat them before", didn't fair to well. Be patient DTS parents. I hope the girls improve and are more proficient when the time comes to play RASE. This way, the game will be more enjoyable to watch.
