"No offense" but it was my understanding that the game was supposed to be 13-0. I guess I'll take "the under" as I'm not sure RASE will run up another 35 goals at this point

C'mon man. It was 1-0 for 50 minutes. They were in the game the whole time. LFS played solid defense. Gap or no gap, that was a pretty good game.

should have been but JK isn't going to just roll over and give you 13 because you have rase on your jersey. You have to go take 13. But I wouldn't say the champ is wobbly. You actually have to get hit to be wobbly

When it's one way traffic and you can barely get out of your own defensive end thats not exactly "in the game" It was a great defensive effort and a nice offside trap used. A very disciplined team but at no point were they ever a threat to score and if you don't score you can't win. It was a smart game plan by JK. Limit the damage and move on. I doubt they will sink back and defend against the other teams.

My guess, you keep 8 to 9 on the back line and push up to keep the forwards offsides. Then you use the 8 to 9 to park the bus.

I counted on several occasion 7 to 8 on the defensive side. Once the ball was played deep, defenders objective was to kick it out or kick it back up. At times, all 11 players were in the defensive third. They played a defensive strategy to minimize the scoring from RASE.

I can empathize with RASE right now...no explanation is going to be short of an excuse to those opposed. I have one question to solidify my theory....did the opposing team and or parents seem excited by the loss?

If there were jeers after a 2-0 loss...then that team did their job or what they sought out to do...

you would have thought they won the championship game. Plenty of loud cheers and it wasn't coming from the winning side of the field. But they did a great job and RASE needs to learn to solve it or they will see it plenty of other times.
