The playing format will be announced at the LHGCL annual meeting on Monday 8/12 in the UTD business school auditorium. 2020-21 will still be two divisions, but the size and format may be different. Will have to wait and see...

You may want to take a look at the UTD Master Plan for updates to the athletic fields. There may be some new options on the horizon...

According to the LHGCL Website (https://www.girlsclassicleague.org/page/show/844732-calendar), August 24th is the first day of league play.

Actually, LH usually plays one game before Labor Day, while PPL typically waits until after Labor Day to start.

A little surprised Villarreal and Williamson weren’t more competitive in their games. At least based on the scores. I didn’t see those games.

There were a couple of games closer than I thought would be and a couple that had larger goal differentials, but mostly spot on in D1. The only game that was really a question was Cosmos v FC Dallas, which was a 1 pointer. I thought that would be anyone’s game and from the score seems like it was.

Looks like all the results were what they should have been. It’ll be interesting to see the season progress and what upsets occur. There are no gimmes anymore. Everyone has to be ready to play each weekend.
