Just in case you missed the polarity of the photo to your rankings (linguistically speaking), how in this world are you now better than Dalglish and what did you drink to excess to come up with the 11-20 rankings?

I have only been on here for the past year or so. Can someone please explain to me why Dalgish is given so much love?????? What have they done against a pure 04 team and how long ago????? Sooooooo, until they face the Rowdies, Rosales, Solar and YES the mighty TBG, and beat them consistently, no love should be given. Yes, I typed it. Maybe that way we can get them to face the top teams in 04. Have yall ever wondered why they do not bother playing 04 competition??? Why should they, they are #1 already without beating the 04s.
Finally, I honestly beleive that TGB is in the top 5 teams. I think that any of the top 5 could play each other and beat each on any given day. As a TBG supporter, thats all that I can ask for. The respect from other clubs that TBG can beat you if taken lightly.
And finally, Lady Aztecs should be in the top 8 at least. They are a good team. They got one of the best forwards in 04. And TBG gots an other one(and no she is not my daughter). TBG has given up 4 goals the past 2 weeks against Rosales and the Rowdies who have scored over 60 goals combined using a goalie with no previous experience. The first team's goalie's dad(me) has been running late the last 2 games. That should show you that TBG is built on depth and not just a couple of players.

Yes they have played many D1 03 teams. No they did not beat them to the ground, but they have had good results. Beating the top 5 03 teams is not going to happen, but those games are good development for Dalglish. How would TBG or Rosales fair playing 9v9 against DTS Adames 03 or Juve Black 03?

What is missed here is that Dalglish and Solar are deeper, so when 9v9 comes around, the other 04 teams will suffer a little (unless they do some serious recruiting).

Good point guys, taking the fall 03 SDL scores on Dalglish. win against 03 #17 ranked team, win over #20, win over #31, lost to #7, lost to #12, win over #29. Dalglish lost to #7 4-2. Can I assume that Juve and DTS could score 10 on Dalglish??
Im no fool, 9v9 is a total different animal. in a 7v7 game, any of the top 3 teams in 04 can play with Dalglish. Im not saying win. If we were to play in 5 team 04 tourney, I am very confident that NO team would come out undefeated.
Question for a Dalglish fan- Does Dalglish use ONLY 04-05 players in 03 games???? Just a yes or no please.
I just me Angel to play the best of the best, the Rosales ,Dalglish, Rowdies of the world.

Good point! However, these 04 teams are not playing 9 v 9 and that is why LP Dalglish should not be included in any 04 rankings. They opt to play 03 to develop so leave them out of the 04 rankings. I also believe that Lady Aztecs are one of the top 6 04 teams. TBG Elite must be a different team from the one I saw in August. They didn't seem to have much speed but good coaching can overcome lack of athletes.

I strongly believe that if you throw TBG Elite, Solar Kennington, DT Rowdies, Fever Red, DT South, Odyssey, DT North, GSSC 04, LP Beardsley, Lady Aztecs, Sting Goodgman all in one tournament, the winner would depend primarily on the bracket draw. However, Solar Kennington would be my pick to win it all.

Fever Red lost 4-2 to Odyssey, have they lost some players? I know their best player went to LP Dalglish, have they lost more players?

TBG Elite has pretty much the same roster it had in August. I THINK, we got too big for our britches. The August tourney was horrible for us but it did make us look in the mirror. We went back and started working very hard and have really rallied as a team both players and parents.

Come on Rowdies, Solar, Lady Aztecs, Rosales, etc. TBG is playing the Nov 11th tourney. I heard Dalglish is coming...

Well, Im not saying that any of these teams are not strong, they all are. I posted on behalf of someone thinking it a crime that Dalglish get love. And the DTS game against Dalglish was 5-1 to DT South. Dalglish was the only team in the 03 tourney to score on them. Juve Black and Dalglish was 3-0 to Juve. pretty exciting game to watch

Don't get too carried away with these Rankings people they are just personal opinions. I know of parents that have left teams due to the team not being ranked high enough on this forum. DUMB!

It does look like the ACES Tournament in November will have a fair number of the teams in most people's "top 20" radar. Should be fun to see how that tournament plays out.

Yea I am going to pick TBG, Texas Sprit North, then DT South or Beardsly on this one.

DT South is going through a transition period with the new coach and I would be surprised to see them make the finals honestly.

It looks like Lp Dalglish is in the 04 bracket for the Aces Tournament Nov. 11-13. I am not associated with LP Dalgish but I have seen them up close against very good 03 teams. I am expecting them to dominate this tournament and maybe meet up with TB Gold Elite in the championship game.

Those of you who have doubted whether LP Dalglish is the real deal will get the opportunity to see them vs 04 competition. They will run through this tournament like SRSA runs through the 03 tournament competition. Keep in mind that LP Dalglish finished 2nd in two 03 tournaments this summer and won one 03 tournament.

At least we can gauge where everyone else is in relation to LP Dalglish after this is over.

Ideally you would want these 4 teams split between two brackets in a system where top two from each bracket advance. This way you ensure a possible 3rd place team isn't knocked out before semis.

Nothing to get caught up in really unless you make it more than it is. This is just a bunch of parents speculating on matchups. I could see Dalglish playing either way, but they would not have a chance to win the 03 division based on the teams playing yet could face a couple of challening games with a good chance to win it all in the 04s.

Winning is not everything, but of course it boosts confidence which is nearly everything.

confidence without ability is called arrogance. At this age learning to play is above all. I know I am probabably in the minority on this on but I would rather play against Juve, Sting, FCD, DTS ( 2nd ) from the 03's. All teams we were on the edge of being competative with. Stick with the plan and increase the intensity

Ok Yoda... but that's one of the dumbest things I've read on here.

Over-confidence is bad yes... confidence and believing in yourself is good. These are different things.

And no... FUN and CONFIDENCE are the two most important things by far. Learning comes from doing and there won't be much doing for an 8 year old if they don’t believe in themselves... that they CAN get it and if they are not having fun.
