2 Hyypia 05 players that don't play on RASE anymore that who your talkin about?

Idk who the players are or what they look like that's just what came out TD's mouth.

Why do we not say names when kids are not involved. Who is TD? Can we please just say the coaches name

Theres a difference between playing 05 and 04 as opposed to 04s playing for different 04 teams. They are the only two and as I say they don't play for RASE anymore. Two really good players tiough especially considering they are 05s.

Keegan has 1 05 that occasionally plays down on the 05 team., but Keegan never has any other 04's play on Keegan that I have seen since my dd has joined. Melammamma you are welcome to come to any Keegan game and point out any RASE or Dalglish player that you think is playing with us...I am the bald really hansome guy!

Rase team parent group has changed and if you are looking for a response you will not get one. I am very happy with the ? from the 03 group on why we do not type the coaches name. This is my 4th kid and I am done with the games. If you have a question about the Rase team please do not hesitate to ask me on a PM.

see all trying to deny it. I've seen lp use the same players. Lp carragher and carragher red are the same team minus two players... And the occasional hypia player mixed in. I'll prove it . I will be at there next game and post a video of these teams so all of Yall will be exposed we don't share players so and so does .

HA!! That Liverpool 04G Redknapp is not better than both Solar Gold and DT North "B" Team. Solar Gold and DT North "B" beat LP Redknapp this past winter indoor (Blue Sky) with ease. No where close. FYI.. Redknapp has not played Solar Gold nor DT North "B" yet in SDL

DT DeLeon seems to be struggling against second level teams. They should have beaten LP Redknapp like they did. For them to be so high in the power rankings is suspect . True they have beating the teams in front of them, but they are not a TOP 5 team. Open your

1st of all you can't compare indoor to outdoor it's not the same game .. second Dt north has beaten every team in EAL 04' Division so I'm curious to know who your top 5 are? In the last 2 SDL seasons. When they were TBG there record was 11-2-3 only losing to solar twice and the rowdies once that's pretty good top 5 status

You getting your teams confused here. DT North Rosales has two teams.. And yes Im going to compare indoor and outdoor. If your team was soft playing indoor, not saying Redknapp was , im sure outdoor you are not going to change much.

I dont have a top 5, but I know for sure DT DeLeon is not worthy of it, at this point. Just my thoughts

Indoor you have walls to help you control the ball, it's very different then outdoor. Do you really think a pro indoor team could beat Fc Dallas. You must smoke the good stuff.

Sounds like most of the old Dalglish team but minus a couple of families and plus a couple more?

Wow this is crazy reading. As stated in my few others posts...all new to this Academy soccer thing. However, my daughter (refuse to type DD) absolutely loves it and enjoys playing with new friends and on the nicer fields. (We also play rec in a smaller town)

Having said that, how about we settle all this non sense in another way... lets have the parents from each team play each other. Or perhaps that category could be added to the master rankings.. Or...just let them play and enjoy the game.

Honestly, if your team is ranked higher at 8 yrs old do you get a bigger trophy? Am I missing something?

So why is this a big deal in a Developmental League where the kids are learning and growing for the next couple years? These games aren't supposed to be scored AND at the 04 level these kids are just that - kids... so if they want to play, why would WE (the parents) feel the need to deny them the right to play as much as they want? If a team is short a couple players due to illness or whatever, why not borrow players from another one of their own teams so those kids don't have to forfeit a game. All these kids want right now is to play and to play with friends. This ranking stuff causes the parents to forget the true prize here - their kids growth in the game. I'm all for a little competitive spirit but it appears to me that we (the parents) might be getting a little carried away at this level IMHO. I say quit worrying about team borrowing players from their own teams and get over it... Those rules are drawn up as guidelines but I think it's more about the kids right now then about what the parents "think". I'm guessing this thought process has been heavily discussed here before with the same results but felt it needed to be said again.

I have no problem with this method and I agree that if a team is short handed they should be able to borrow players but when these people start manipulateling these rankings with these sort of practices, I do have a problem with that, plus everyone is denying that lp shares players that is why I made a big deal out of it. Also they don't just share players for the simple fact of they have kids sick or they are short handed they do it to make their lesser teams seem better then what they are and use this rediculouse rankings system to recruit players. That's my problem.

The rankings and slick talk about your DD team or other teams drives us to come back and read. Let me be REAL here with you. The more I read these thread the more it drives me to say this - Is it something inside of me that says "My daughter is better than yours" -- YES. Is it something inside of me that says "My daughter is better than yours AND plays on a better team than yours" -- YES.

Most of us are living our dreams through our DD. It’s just the competitive nature in most of us. I may or may not be the first to admit it.


Either you're in it for:

1.) Rec - DD plays to be active and stay somewhat in shape.

2.) Competitive - Same as #1 plus her friends are on the team and they win little more game than Rec.

3.) Academy/Select - Same as #1 & #2 plus winning and losing matters and most are playing to earn scholarships.


Im sure more can be added to these three.

For those who don’t understand and for those who will never get it:

If my DD has a desire to play college soccer and to "EARN" a scholarship, I will do everything to help out with her dream. It’s not going to happen by her sitting on her asset and not being pushed. Yes, you do get a bigger trophy in a sport where name recognition is bigger than you think. Best believe college coaches know your DD names and teams at an early age - BELIEVE THIS.

In a few years when you realized why your DD was passed up on that scholarship think back on this:

4.) My DD was left her in Rec until she was 10 yrs old.

5.) My DD was the best Competitive player on her Competitive team that won more games than Rec.

6.) My DD played academy/select, I didn’t push her, and the ship has passed her by.


This was not for anyone in particular but if it bothers you, then yes, it’s for you. Keep your DD in the (4, 5, 6) category above and there will be no expectations. Don’t dislike the messenger, dislike the game. It’s a dog eat dog world in academy/select.

Homie, I suggest you stop, not only are these lies in regards to LP '04 teams, but your digging yourself and your team a deeper pit in the field of reputation and character.

Hahahaha - ya'll got issues... kinda early to pin one thing on your child's future for a college education... apparently because I played football and not soccer I don't have that same drive to live vicariously through my own child. I just pray she enjoys it long enough to do her some good, physically or academically.

Oh, and for the record, I'm NOT in it, my daughter is and she's in it cause right now she enjoys it and thinks she's pretty good at it, and that's her, not me... the only stake I have in this claim is getting her to practices and games because she has a love for the game. So I'M not in it, she is and she enjoys it for now and I doubt she's thinking about any of those numbers you listed above...

That's funny. Reminds me of a tournament where my dd's team was about to play for the championship. One of the dad's (a big dude) came storming toward me on the sideline, eyes bulging, veins in his neck about to explode and demanded, "are you ready?"....LOL I said, "I didn't know I was playing?"...seriously, though, we found over the years that those who had some athletic success of their own were much more likely to keep things in perspective...
