yawn......
So more blah blah, let me say something, blah blah, get the last word in blah blah skip a response, blah blah blah, try to sound cool, blah blah blah...
You a boring dude...
And just because you type a response, does not mean you said anything..
And just because you can't keep up with what I'm saying, does not mean you have a point at all...
Just go back to trying to be funny and saying stuff like "waving" a flag, when you actually meant "pointing" a flag.. When you are debating, at least be precise...
I'll be the dull AR "waving" my flag every time the ball goes out of play across the touch-line on your dds game. But hey, at least I can speak English for you...

maybe we can throw urine at opposing teams and get the that mexican experience also...
Rabbit, maybe you should read your own disclaimer.
7,
Yessir, I re-read my disclaimer and possibly should have given SP the benefit of the doubt. It's quite possible, I misinterpreted SP's statement, missed the joke and need to take a Mortin. Perhaps you would be kind, and explain to me...
How is throwing or expelling one's urine onto another, qualified as, and/or limited too (or being), a "Mexican" experience?
I apologize in advance for my ill-mannered response.

The fans on the lower level are separated from the field by barbed wire, and a moat. These barriers were put in to place to prevent rabid fans from running on to the field. The few American fans brave enough to make the trip are tucked away in to a small section in the upper deck surrounded on all sides by police in riot gear. Despite these security measures, Americans have in the past been beaten up, had bags of urine thrown at them, along with rocks, batteries and any other food or drink that local fans can get their hands on. During a 2004 Olympic qualifier, the Mexican fans even went so far as to chant "Osama, Osama" as dejected American players boarded their bus after a 4-0 loss."
can you imagine an american crowd doing this? the howls of racism would be deafening but hey its mexico, so what..
btw I guess condemning people for throwing bananas at black players is also racist huh? puleeze. that would be the russian experience for them...

Algerian league player killed by object thrown from stands (2014)

US fans protected at US-Mexico game:

in a 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification – CONCACAF Fourth Round match at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City between Costa Rica and Mexico, Costa Rican captain Bryan Ruiz was hit by debris thrown from the stands when attempting to take a corner kick
South Korea vs. Iran (2013) As Iran started to celebrate on the pitch, South Korean fans started throwing water beer bottles towards the Iranian players. As Carlos Queiroz made his way across the pitch to thank the Iranian fans, he was also pelted by the South Korean fans
2012 - During a Football League Championship match between Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United at Hillsborough, Leeds supporter Aaron Cawley invaded the pitch and shoved Wednesday goalkeeper Chris Kirkland in the face before returning to the stands
A soccer match turned ugly in Port Said, Egypt at the conclusion of the match where Port Said's al-Masry beat Cairo's Al-Ahly 3–1. Witnesses said trouble broke out when Ahly fans unfurled banners insulting Port Said, and an Ahly supporter descended onto the pitch carrying an iron bar. Al-Masry fans reacted first by attacking Ahli players, then opposing fans. Fights from the stands poured out onto the field, causing riots and eventual civil unrest. The rioting resulted in 73 deaths and at least 1,000 injured
2011 - In a Romanian soccer Liga I game between FC Petrolul Ploiești and FC Steaua București, when a penalty kick was awarded to Steaua, a Petrolul fan, Dragos Petrut Enache ran onto the field and hit Steaua defender George Galamaz in the face with a heavy object, breaking his cheekbone
During a match between San Lorenzo and Vélez Sársfield of the Argentine Football Association, a riot broke out between rival fans at Vélez Stadium. Seven minutes into the game, San Lorenzo goalkeeper Pablo Migliore dropped to the ground after being struck in the head by an object thrown from the stands.
Woo hoo!!! Bring on the "international flavor"!

I make this disclaimer: I'm not an SP fanboy. But, to be fair....
In just about everything he has written, one thing seems to stand out: He is pretty consistent. By that I mean, he's an equal opportunity slammer." It's best to just let him say his piece or else he will come at you like a starved Chihuahua on a pork chop!

good, did you take the time to explain to them how other cultures act in soccer or did you just take the easy way out and feed them some PC BS? I suspect I know the answer already given your "sensitive" feelings toward the truth..

LOL, SP, I had really hoped we had moved from this topic. However, since you are so insistent, I will grant you this one last response on this matter.
You are truly entertaining and I thank you for graciously sharing your evolved international outlook. From the reading selection you provided afterwards, I now see that your intention was to culturally educate our forum brethren.
I further appreciate your concern regarding my dds education. I suspect my DD may be a little older than yours, and I readily admit that I've made several parental mistakes in all of my children's upbringing....And I thank you for your guidance in this matter...
So, after our granola this morning, we did yoga and I had her study your posts for cultural enlightenment. Afterwards, we then meditated to gather the true wisdom of your words.
What I was grateful to learn today was that my dd was smart enough to recognize that your comments ("truth") by singling out a SINGLE ethnic group with a negative slur were...well, "pretty uncool and snobby". I prefer to think of them as hastily written, inadvertent comments that sometimes ensnare us all.
Lastly, however pure your words and intentions, my children are at the age where they need to start learning how make their own judgements and be to identify folks who are just.... Knuckleheads (you and your words exempted, of course)...and some of them are kinda like a rash that won't go away until you stop itching it.
Thanks for the life lesson!

you are welcome. In our home, we talk about life, good AND bad and when confronted with distasteful truths, our first reaction is not to post a bureaucratic rule in the hope of avoiding subjects which might hurt our feelings...

What did he post that wasn't true? Do you actually condone violence and racism by fans or just opposed to people who point it out?
